Nathan's POV

I just finished my final,I can proudly say I am a graduate. It feels like yesterday when I was just a fresh man but to say I'm proud of myself,is an understatement.when we were all done we went clubbing,Natalie didn't come cause her final paper was tomorrow morning and being the nerd that she was,my girl had been in the library all day.

I was surprised to see Stacy at the club trying to flirt with me,"Come on Nathan, its just one dance"she said rolling her hair "Are you dumb or naturally stupid,even if you were cheap and I still sleep around I wouldn't pick you cause you are ugly,annoying,lack self respect, plus you are a disgusting gold digger who has nothing going on for her.Now scram fool" I said "don't talk to me like that cause of that ugly dark girl"she said "You think she is ugly,look at yourself in the mirror and you would be shocked. You are ugly inside and out.As for her,no matter how much you say she is ugly so you can try to boast your non existent self esteem,you are still trash,one which nobody want and I wouldn't ever consider" I said walking away.I had several missed calls from my dad which I ignored,Nora was calling,I picked only to hear her crying. "What is it nora,why are you crying again, can you please ignore that your douche of an ex,its his loss" I said "Nelson just had an accident and we are all in the hospital, Mom and dad are fighting already please come over Nathan" she said as things became hazy "what!!!!" I screamed,"i'll be there soon"I said "what's going on dude" Andre asked "My brother! my brother was in a car crash", I said running out of the club.

When Andre got to where I was he said "dude I'm not letting you drive" "Get the f**k away from the door" I screamed at him "No man give me the car keys,i'll drive you" he said "fine let just get going please"I said not wanting to waste anymore time. Immediately we got to the hospital I rushed to Nelson's room to see him with an oxygen mask and his face and body bruised beyond recognition. " what the f**k happened, what led to this,why,why is he here" I screamed but I pulled out by a nurse "Take your hands off me" I said screaming."Nathan please calm down" my mom said "he went to see Sandra at a movie set, at least people around saw him and later he rushed off,driving off angrily only to get into an accident" my mom said and I turned to sandra who was crying her eyes out "what made him so angry that he had to rush off Sandra,what did you say to him" I said quietly but with anger, "I didn't cause this I swear,we had a little argument about my role in the movie and he confronted the producer storming off angrily" sandra replied quickly but I was still suspicious "I don't believe you,let Nelson get better first" I said turning away from her, Nelson is not one to get easily provoked and with how much he loved this b***h,he definitely wouldn't get mad at her, something wasnt right about everything.

My dad holding Nelson's medical report said to the doctor, "Something isn't right about my son's blood group and genotype I told you to check again" "Sir,we've carried out another blood test to confirm his blood group and genotype" the doctor replied "Get the test done again,I know i'm not a medical personnel but my son's blood group can't be O negative and his genotype AS when I and my wife's genotype are AA and our blood group A and B positive respectively,so get it tested again" My dad screamed and the doctor nodded saying "Ok,sir". " I think its all a misunderstanding"my mum said to my dad "it better be" he replied "Can you guys focus on my brother over here and do something so he gets better, stop this drama you two" I said "I'm doing my best son"my dad said "don't call me your son just do more and stop quarrelling over stupid things while my brother is unconscious" I said pacing, soon the doctor came back requesting to talk to my parents personally so they went with him

"I love him you know Nathan, I just want him to be better for us" Sandra said "i'm not believing any s**t you sprout out of your filthy mouth until my brother is conscious and tells me himself" I said turning to see Nora in Andre's arms still crying while he pet her.I was having headache already,my phone started ringing and I checked to see it was Natalie calling sighing I picked the call walking away "Hey babe" I said "I heard of what happened, how is your brother" she asked "He is unconscious Nat,he looks bruised up,I can't believe this is happening" I said quietly with my voice shaking a bit "he would be fine please be calm, sweetheart your parents and Nora needs you now,no quarrelling with anyone Nathan please.Just focus on doing everything to make your brother better" she said "ok babe,I understand" I replied "get a bottle water and take care,i'll be there after my exams tomorrow" she said "ok" I replied "I love you" Natalie said as I saw Sandra staring at me "I love you too sweetheart,take care, Goodnight" I replied as the call ended "I don't think your parents would approve of your relationship with her" Sandra said "Shut up and focus on my brother, your fiancée.My parents don't control my life and relationships" I replied walking away only to see my parents quarrelling again,can this night get better for the love of God.

Andre,Nora and I walked over to where they were only to hear my dad say "You lieing b***h,whose child is that, cause this shows he is not mine" "please calm down there must be a medical explanation why his blood group and genotype are like that" my mom said "Are you still lieing at this point" my dad screamed "I am having a paternity test done" my dad said and I cut him off "Are you seriously fighting over this while my brother is still unconscious,how heartless can the two of you be" I said "i'll focus on him now but if that paternity test confirms this, we are getting a divorce" my dad said "please Neil,I beg you please forgive me" my mom said "Mummy why are you begging, what is happening" Nora asked "Yes he isn't yours but I never meant to lie to you,I swear" my mom said and my head started pounding with full force.

Everything I know is shaking,but I don't care if he isn't my dad's son he is still my brother.I love him and nothing would change that."How did this happen Vanessa"My dad asked "well after you slept with me the next day you wouldn't talk to me,I felt sad and a friend of mine was there and he helped me through it" she said sobbing "oh helping you by f*****g you constantly right" my dad screamed "No,No I swear no,it happened just once Neil and that was two days after I was with you and he used protection so when I found out I was pregnant I felt it was yours that's why I agreed to marry you" my mom said "I was forced to marry you cause I got you pregnant, I never wanted to get married at that time" my dad said "how long have you known" my dad asked "I suspected when two years after he was born,his father admitted he wanted to get me pregnant so he tampered with the condoms on purpose and I confirmed it when he was in high school" she said "And you didn't tell me,all these years" my dad said "I was scared,Neil please forgive me,I didn't want my family to be broken over one stupid mistake I made. i'm so sorry" while we were talking sandra rushed over to tell us Nelson's life was in danger.We all rushed over to his room to see a doctor and some nurses trying to revive him.we were sent out of his room.I kept Pacing outside, scared, praying my brother survives this.

Twenty minutes later the doctor came out to give us the most heart breaking news,i've heard all my life. My brother was dead,Nelson was dead while my parents were talking about irrelevant issues,he was battling for his life.I won't forgive them for this.I can't live with out him,why did he have to die,don't people survive car crash,why was his different, he wasn't suppose to die.I didn't know I was crying until Andre said "please Nathan hold yourself" I looked around I saw my mom had already collapsed.I was sitting on the hospital floor. Everyone was running about,someone was lifting my mom in a stretcher, everything was hazy until I heard Sandra say "who is going to take care of me and my baby now" she was crying. I guess she was pregnant. That was the last thing I heard before everything went dark.
