Wedding fever

Nathan's POV

I've had a really busy schedule for a while now since my dad decided to move into the Sports industry, buying a football club and dumping total control of the company we ran together on me.I don't even have the time to hangout with the guys anymore and I feel stressed always still my dad won't cut his s**t out,Instead he actually decided to add more by making me setup and run Sandra's Jewelry business.I had barely anytime for Natalie and she seems to be catching onto this which is making her cranky.God I wish Nelson was here,I really wasn't cut out for this kind of life,I'm trying hard to do what he would have done but it so hard that I feel like quitting.

The one time I decided to ignore everything on my schedule to hangout with the guys,it ended up with Andre and I having a row.I really cannot believe the s**t flying out of his mouth,I've always avoided saying anything about the s**t with his new girlfriend and my sister but I wasn't going to sit back and watch them treat my sister like a nuisance when she has done nothing wrong recently.Yeah we ended up working things out,which I mainly agreed to just to keep the peace since Hansel's wedding is approaching and he need everyone of us,but deep within me,I know I would never allow Andre anywhere near my sister again. Thankfully I won't have to worry about that if his relationship with his new girlfriend works out just fine.Picking up my phone since Natalie was calling,I really wasn't surprised when she said "Nathan we need to talk now,I don't care if you are busy, I'll be waiting at your apartment" when she finished,she ended the call and all I could sense was trouble. I walked into my apartment with flowers and a gift bag,yea I'm trying to appease her but when I saw her I knew this was going to be big."No Nathan don't even try to distract me with gifts,I'm not doing this with you today"She said fuming "I wasn't trying to do that baby" I said smiling while she scoffed,"You have to believe me more babe"I said trying to kiss her but she pulled away.Yeah,this is big.

"Nathan it's clear you don't have time to honor our arrangement anymore,you don't even have time for me,I'm here and you are too exhausted to even look at me.I can't deal with this"she said which has been true for a while now "Babe I'm sorry about that,I did tell you I'm running the company alone now and recently I now have to set up Sandra's Jewelry stores and monitor the management for a while, it a hectic process for me babe but I promise to make it up to you" I said pecking her but she shrugged then said "You don't have to explain to me cause it's not like we are in a relationship".No! No! No! I wasn't doing this s**t anymore, this push and pull is messing with my head and heart and I can't deal with it anymore so I said "If we really aren't dating then you have no right to complain about me not making time for you.Its just s*x right that means I just have to f**k you then get back to work no questions asked" I said nonchalantly which seem to piss her off "Yea,but......" "But what Natalie,isn't that what you wanted,a bootycall,why expect the pecks of a relationship when this is just a fling, isn't that selfish of you"I asked and she flipped "Fine Nathan,I get you maybe we should just end this cause right now I should work on meeting the right person, having a truly healthy relationship with the future in view, something that could lead to marriage" she said pacing "Is that what you want Natalie, remember I promised you this would be anything you want it to be,is a clean break what you want" I asked her quietly and she sat down sobbing.

"Don't do that Nathan,don't even act like I caused this,you did,you ignored me, we've only cuddled for more than a month now so I know something is off, I want a serious relationship,I also want to get married too,and if at my mid twenties I wasting my time on meaningless flings then I should not really expect that to happen anytime soon"she said sobbing "What do you want Natalie"I asked again "I just tired,I have to be Joy's maid of honor you know and I can't even figure out what I'm doing" she said with her eyes teary,and it actually dawned on me what was actually going on here so I laughed,how stupid can this girl be not to see how much I love her.I thought I was doing a good job showing her how much I do "Stop laughing Nathan,I can't believe you find this situation funny"she said pissed "ok baby,it isn't, Natalie will you be my girlfriend"I asked "No, that's not what we were discussing,besides you come with baggage" she said but I cut her off kissing her "You know we are both tired of not putting the right name to this, we want more so Natalie would you accept me and my baggage,be my girlfriend"I asked and she kept quiet so I pulled her into my arms saying "If this is what you want say yes baby,cause I've always known this is what I wanted" and she nodded,"No baby,use your words,will you be my girlfriend" I asked "Fine,Yes Nathan, satisfied"she said rolling her eyes and I smiled kissing her just as my phone started ringing "I think you are catching wedding fever,due to Joy's wedding approaching" I said while she rolled her eyes as I picked my call only to have my personal assistant tell me I have a board meeting first thing tomorrow morning and I also have another with Sandra to discuss about her jewelry stores that means I have to work all night to meet up,I thought as I ended the call.Turning to Natalie she said "You have to work right" and I nodded "I promise baby I would make out time for you,I just have too many projects at hand right now" I replied while she sulked "I promise to make it up to you"I concluded kissing her"Hope you know we are all going over to my parents place next week"Sure Hansel informed the guys,I also need to talk to your brother about us" i said.As I worked that night I decided to get my babe some thing good.

The next day was a bit hectic with several meetings but Sandra just kept prolonging the meeting with her which I slotted for the last.We keep going in circles,I allowed her pick the business name while we both discussed about fitting location for her stores.After long bickering cause she was just trying to be wasteful we decided to start with two stores in US,two in UK and One in Canada all fully stocked,We also had discussion with the web design team to discuss their project at the end of that meeting I was exhausted and it was late but I was still going to meet up with Judah cause I don't want to him to find out about my relationship with Natalie from some other source.I called to tell him I was coming over to his apartment even though it was late.Though he wanted to postpone but I kept insisting, getting in he said "Does this have anything to do with the issue with Dre,I thought you guys sorted the s**t out" he said calmly "Yea we did, actually this has something to do with your sister and I" I said but before I could continue he was fuming already "What did you do to her this time Nathan,stay the f**k away from her dude she just keeps getting into s**t cause of your family" he said "I didn't hurt her if that what you are thinking man, actually we are dating and I wanted you to hear it from me first" I replied "That girl is going to be the death of me,she never ever learns,I wonder why the both of you can't just f*****g stay apart,I wouldn't be surprised if you guys have been having flings this period you were apart,cause Nat seems very very comfortable with the break up and so did you.I've been watching you guys.Did you guys truly take a break though" he said exhausted "I Love her man,and you all know this, I'm sorry she has been hurt on multiple occasions but I really can't let her go especially when I know we clearly feel same way about each other" I replied "That's it,so now if I try keeping her away from you,I know my sister,it would be world war z,plus it's still not going to work since she would just go behind my back.Fine, but the moment you disrespect or hurt my sister,our being friends ceases to exist"he said. We immediately heard someone squeal walking away "is that your girl" I asked "Yes,I guess it's out now cause she is about to spread the news"Judah said and we smiled.

Finally I decided to get my baby the latest Range rover.she was surprised, teary,she even tried rejecting it but I wasn't having any of it.I tried to make her move in with me but that girl is as stubborn as a mule.
