TessI woke up to the smell of coffee and the sound of Grier voice. He was on the phone in the living room, so I couldn’t hear what he was saying, or he was talking to. I sat up and stretched, then smiled. Today is the day. I slid my slippers on, grabbed my robe and went to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. On my way to the kitchen, I passed the living room and Grier lowered his voice. I was in too good of a mood to really care. “I’ve got to go, I’ll talk to you later,” I heard him say in a hushed tone.
