TessI woke up to a loud crash in the kitchen. “TESS!” I rubbed my eyes, trying to wake up. “TESS!” “Yes?” I said sleepily as I sat up. “Get your ass in here.” My head dropped, and I took a deep breath. “Coming.” Stop coming and get here!” I jumped up, grabbed my robe and ran into the kitchen. “What the f**k is this?” He pointed at the food in the oven. “Chicken and veggies.” I looked around for the source of the crash that I heard earlier and saw that it was the bowl with salad that I had wrapped up and left on the counter for him. “You left the salad on the counter instead of putting it in the fridge.
