The reign of the Lycan Queen

The average life span of a human is 70-80 years old and out of those 80 or so years, I have lived 18 of them. Life has been challenging with nothing going right. I thought I would make friends and live the typical American dream, with a pretty house and a completely loving family, with a nice dog. “Live with you are giving in life,” people say to me. I never thought I would have made it through life and be here writing this to you but I am. I went through more than the average person does in a whole lifetime in just 18 years. But with what I have been thinking, I learned a lot about how to not be the person that my dad and mom were to me and my siblings. The story begins in the year 2005 when my little siblings and I watched my mom and dad fight over basic things. They fight daily and always end up mad, but on that day my mom wanted to leave my dad. She was finally done with my dad’s abuse. But my dad was not happy with what she was going to do. He always keeps an 1835 Samuel Colt .45 peacemaker in his coat pocket. He took the peacemaker out and shot my mother dead on the kitchen floor. After that, my dad was never around. He was always at work or at the bar drinking his life away. My dad was the big CEO of a make-up company called Lily’s Beauty. It was named after my mom. Lilly Greengot was a short but bold redhead who was stunning to no comparison. Everywhere she went, all her eyes were turned on her. She was a very sweet lady and loved her kids dearly, which is what the newspapers always said, but in reality, she hated us with all her guts. My mom got pregnant with me and my twin brother at the age of 19. Our dad was 28 when he found out she was pregnant with his child. Our dad was cheating on his wife with our mom, and he left his wife for mom. They truly were in love. She became the new Luna/ queen of our pack. Though my dad and mom are two different kinds, as my mom is a wolf and our dad is a Lycan. The whole pack accepted their love. My dad was married to a person who was not his mate. Of course, he loved her or he would not have married her, but there was always that spark that was missing. When my mom got to the Lycan pack, my dad instantly knew that she was his mate. Soon enough, his wife found out my mom was pregnant with me and my brother, so she and dad got divorced. Dad was so excited about becoming a father. My mom and dad named me Talulah Jane greengot and my brother Samuel colt greengot. Being a twin is not always as great as you would think. When Samuel and I were little we were the best of friends. He was my built-in best friend, but as we grew up he started to blame me for everything that had happened. He won't look at me. He will not speak to me because he blames me, but I just take it every day, one day at a time. Every morning I wake up at 4:00 am. If I don't, I won't have time to do my morning chores. I have to make sure all my siblings are up and ready for school and that they have breakfast. I am the person who raised all my younger siblings. Since dad is always working, he was never around to take care of us, I decided that I would step up and fill the place of mom for my two younger siblings. Not only do I have to make sure that my younger siblings are dressed and ready for school, but I also have to get ready. So I walked upstairs to my room and got dressed. I chose to wear a bleached dyed black shirt with all-black jeans with rips only at the knees. I have on my dark green dr. martens. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with my hair. Then I realized that if I didn't leave now, it would be late, so I didn't do my make-up, put my hair up in a messy bun, and walked out the door to my car. As I parked my car, my brother and his goons for friends threw a football at my head. My brother does stuff like this all the time just to impress his friends, but instead of the football hitting my head, someone caught it. The guy who caught it asked me if I was OK as I was about to respond to him. I noticed how gorgeous he looked. He had brown hair with green eyes. He was very tall. You could tell that he worked out because you could see the outline of his muscles through his shirt. I didn't realize that I was staring at him until he asked if I was OK again. " Um, yes. Thank you." I said as I picked up the things that I had dropped and started walking away. I ran away to the other side of the parking lot where my best friend Lottie was. She was laughing because she had just seen the embarrassing thing that had just happened. Lottie has been my other best friend since we were little. Her mom is my mom's childhood best friend so, of course, my daughter and I get along. We spent every single day together. . She has beautiful blonde hair and I have red hair that is straight as a board and she has curly hair. She's tall and lengthy, and If she wanted to, she could be the most beautiful model in the world, but she chose to be my best friend even though I'm one of the most awkward people you could ever meet and she could be a cheerleader and be a part of the popular group, yet She still chooses to hang around me now the one stupid choice she has made is that she is dating my brother I love them both but the sight of my best friend kissing my brother is the most disgusting thing in the world. Lotte and I walked into the school building to our class. As the class was starting, the guy who saved me from the football walked in. The teacher said " OK class, this is our new student will codwell. will you can sit next to Tallulah. Tallulah, please raise your hand so he knows where to sit", will then walk over and sit next to me " so that you name. Tallulah, what an intriguing name." Then he puts his earbuds on and the class continues for the whole day. Then the bell rang and they started to leave. I walked right into him and dropped all my stuff. Only was I embarrassed. Because of what happened this morning, I am even more embarrassed by walking in right into him quickly pick up my things and walk to my car but as I start to walk out the door there's a strong smell of mahogany and tiki wood. My wolf says in my head as I looked at him " mine"
