I went back to my room and showered again. My body was sweaty from all the things I had been doing.
It was almost time for the gala and I was excited about it. I started with my makeup, I wasn’t the best at doing it but I had learnt a few things from YouTube.
After I was done, I wore my dress and my shoes. ‘Come help me with my zip.’ I mind-linked Aiden and asked for help because I couldn’t do it on my own.
In no time, the door swung open and Aiden appeared. He was already dressed in a silver-colored tuxedo. The two colors of the day were silver and blue. It was meant to match the theme for the Howling Gala, which was a moon-themed event.
I turned around for him to help me zip up my dress. He ran his hands through my bare back and his touch sent a shiver down my spine.
