The professor and students were engaged in a lively discussion about the day’s topic but my mind had drifted off to somewhere else.
I could see their mouths moving but I couldn’t hear what they were saying because I was busy thinking about the recurring nightmare that I had been having and what it could possibly mean.
Suddenly, I felt someone tapping me but it took me a while to realize and snap back to reality. “The professor is calling you,” Vera whispered to me and I darted my eyes to the professor who was standing close to me.
“Miss, are you okay?” She asked, giving me a concerned look.
I quickly sat upright and nodded my head. “Yeah, sure. I’m okay.” I replied then she continued with her lecture.
