Chapter 33 My panorama view of the city from my sitting room usually calms any mood, but not last night. I tried to feel the calm I always do when looking out over the city and its street lights, neon signs, and all the lights from other houses. Nothing worked to calm my inner stress and worry. I had a calming drink of whiskey and went to bed, completely exhausted. I wake up in a dark room. I must have fallen asleep for a little while. It was near damn impossible to sleep, no matter how tired I was, exceedingly worried about Ana. I have yet to hear from her, and my calls go directly to voicemail.
