Chapter 66
People poured through the open doors and into the Infinity Nexus chamber. The giant statues of the Celestials stood in silent vigil over the gathering crowd. Each group stood in between two of the statues to represent their wards, and that leftover half of the chamber empty. Lord Drumpf stood on the opposite side of the chamber where Lord Whelsey stood. The two glared at one another from across the room. Nemesis stood out front with the other lords, looking to her friends, Lord Cornelius, Lord Hector, and Lady Clotho standing nearby. The Core Wards stood next to the Lower Wards, and Lord Hephaestus smiled to Lady Freya, Lord Oswald, and Lady Marimba, who stood next to him. Lord Galen chose to stand off by himself with the few remaining members of his clan who weren’t attending to the wound
