Screeches and howls from the landing V-shaped ships emanated from behind the docking bay doors that were beginning to open. Red energy crackled from the throngs of Reverie flooding from their ships. Tenno Levart stood at the edge of a ramp, looking at the growing swarms of his Ravaging Cadence. He could see the rows of troops forming a shield wall across the docking bay battlefield, and the human ships were spread in between. Before the enemy could amass their force, Kain opened fire. White energy lanced across the docking bay in sustained bursts when the troops joined in. Commander Verdas screamed for his troops to pour on the fire.
