I enjoyed doing work again. Although, I was out of shape from sitting on my ass for a month. As promised, Willow didn’t cut me any slack. I helped her straighten up the tack room and got the door hung. I started making mental notes of everything that needed fixing. She has her work cut out for her. There are too many repairs to handle by one person.
Working here with her was strange, though. I’m not sure how to explain it, but I enjoyed it. Working side by side with Willow brought so many memories flooding back. Willow, Cody, and I spent many days working together on one of our parent’s farms. The longer we toiled, the more I thought. My thoughts went to her so-called boyfriend.
