Willow’s P.O.V. The steam floated off the top of my cup of coffee. I lifted it to my mouth and took a small sip, savoring the taste. My mind ran in a constant state of motion since I ran into Jessie yesterday. Working with him brought back so many memories. As much as I hated him for leaving, it disappeared being near him. I’m mad at myself for letting him have this effect on me. Even with a walking boot on, Jessie outworked most people. I saw he struggled with doing various things because he always got an annoyed expression on his face when it happened. I never once offered to help him.
