Runaway Almost Luna

Crack! "Dammit Naomi, try not to let them know the exact direction we are running" Allie screamed as she was in her wolf form. Her heart was pounding through her chest as Naomi continued to run through the woods. "She's headed to the south boundary" She heard one of the warriors shout. Allie continued to run as fast as her wolf would allow. Never will we forget what they did, her wolf told her as they ran. Allie was to be mated to Alpha Lawrence of the Gray moon pack, a supposed friend of her pack, the Blue Mountain. It was not a fated mating, but Alpha Lawrence was approaching his 30th birthday, and Allie was 28. They had known each other for years, and Allie thought he was handsome and sweet. Little did she know how mean he actually was. "I cant believe I fell for his lies, Allie thought. Her wolf, Naomi replied. Run faster, Allie requested, we are almost to the border. With a stretch of her mighty paws, Naomi ran for the creek that was the southern border. She leaped into the air and jumped as far over as she could. Made it, Naomi shouted in her mind. Naomi let me shift" Allie reminded her wolf, "Not yet chica, Let him wonder, no reply no good bye" Allie prepared to argue when she heard a big booming laugh across the creek "Haha ha ha, Allie, Allie allie... come back and we can discuss your sensitives to how I run my pack. As my luna, we can cater a bit to them My sweet sweet prize." Alpha Lawrence boomed in front his warriors. Naomi glared at his naked figure, "I will bite his junk off if he touches us, i will never allow his wolf to touch us" "I agree, I want to puke thinking about the kisses and petting that has happened" "Come back NOW" Lawrence yelled, Naomi looked across the creek and growled "NEVER AGAIN" She turned away from the sight of Gray moon pack and trotted off into the woods. It felt like forever as the sun began to rise up over the tree tops, Naomi stopped and allowed Allie to shift. "We need to rest, Im exhausted" "I know but we need to get ahold of dad, cause he should be on his way for the Luna ceremony" How did we get here? Where did I go wrong? Allie thought Prolog At the 1st day of fall ball, Allie was standing in the reception line with her father and mother as the beta family receiving all of the guest packs that the Alpha and Luna invited to the mating ball. Luna Bailey absolutely loved to party and she wanted to see all of her young single wolves mated. Her Alpha Mathew, always the willing mate, humored her as this also helped with allegiances and keeping strong bonds. This ball was open to all mated and unmated pack members as it also doubled as the first harvest party. "Allie, hun can you please smile? Your chosen is about to walk thru the door" Allies mom quietly said with a smile on her face. Her father laughed as he shook the hands of another Beta's wife. "You could look happy to see him" Allie smiled immediately, her chosen mate Alpha Lawrence, was extremely handsome and likable, and being that they both had waited for their fated and still had not met them, he chose her. His luscious curly dark hair and blue eyes, his trim body that also reminded her of a Pine tree in height. He looked like selene herself carved him for the female mind to drool over, then when you mix in his personality of humor and kindness. Allie wanted to pinch herself at how lucky she was "Alpha Lawrence, thank you for coming," Alpha Mathew boomed" I think your soon-to-be luna has been waiting for you" "Hello my sweet" Lawrence said " I hope I didn't keep you waiting long" "No, not long" Allie replied, Naomi perked up "BUT it was worth the wait" she cooed in my head. "Down girl, im glad your coming around to my thinking' "I still think we should wait for our mate, he just might be lost.. or a blonde and got caught in a scratch n sniff sticker" Allie laughed at naomi comment and everyone stopped to look at her "What was so funny my sweet? Share with the class" Lawrence said, with a not friendly smile. "Oh my wolf said she was happy to see you" Allie quickly replied. Her mother and father smiled. Everyone knew that Naomi was a jokester and was not completely happy with the chosen mate idea. But it was good that she was coming around. Lawrence smiled, and took allies hand, " Lets dance our night away and discuss you moving to my pack" and as they walked further into the dance area behind the pack house naomi grumbled "wouldn't it be OUR pack?" "Stop it" "I will not, he isn't treating us with the respect we deserve as Luna" Allie tripped over Lawrences toe mid step at the fierceness of the last comment. "Are you ok my sweet?" Lawrence asked "yes i just am excited about our union" Allie replied. "So when do we want to do the luna ceremony? And i have already started luna training with Luna Bailey" " Well we cannot have your luna ceremony til the next full moon, but you also should only worry about the things lunas learn in my pack, my head house keeper can give you the book." Lawrence replied " Wait, what about your mother? And Ok about the next moon, that gives me time to shop for a dress" Allie thought it was wierd he did not want his mother to train her. "My mother is indisposed of, thats why there is a book. Then if you dont remember, you have notes, dont agrue a good Luna doesn't argue" Lawrence said with a frown. Naomi growled "down girl, hes just stressing" "Hes being a jackass" Allie smiled at the facts being thrown at her "Well I would love to talk to her about what the wedding traditions for the ceremony she has." Lawrence did a low growl and threw out his aura "She is busy, and you will have a book, end of discussion" And quickly pulled Allie into the waltz around the room. Hours flew by and soon it was 1 am, Allie had danced with Lawrence for two more dances and mingled with him through out the night, they never sat down. He never offered to get her a drink, even though he stopped for refreshment. She made a quick comment about needing a drink and he just stared at her. She said she needed to go to the rest room, and again a stare. He finally broke the stare and "You really need to make these a request, you dont demand or tell your alpha husband these things". Allie was horrified, but really didn't know what to do, her mated friends never said anything about having to make requests, and her mother never did. The ball was winding down to the pack run, and Allie was so tired she politely told her father she was going to bed, naomi yawned in agreement. Lawrence "Well we will definitely have to work on your stamina, Lunas always go on the runs" laughing. Luna Bailey looked horrified "Well I sometimes just prefer to not to" Lawrence quickly stopped laughing and just smiled "Yes, if you are with pups it would be too much" Luna baily looked at Allie with a sad smile " Allie, please in the morning, before breakfast, come see me. I need to discuss shopping with you" Allie smiled "Yes luna, I will, good night everyone" And quickly left the party area, as she headed home to her room, Naomi pipped in "Are you sure about jackass? Hes just not my favorite, id rather be mate-less". Allie was disheartened about this ball being her last one as unmated. She finally had it, a handsome mate and an alpha to bat. But his demeanor was not the same. She didn't remember him being so controlling or rude. It hurt, they have been friends over the years and she just didn't remember this about him. "Lets talk to Luna about it in the morning Naomi, maybe she can give us a better perspective. She did tell us that Alphas do like to run things, but the luna does the lists lol" Allie replied to her wolf
