“Yo, Linda! Mornin'!” I flashed a bright smile. I figured if I kept annoying Linda with these little interruptions, I'd eventually figure out what her attitude towards me really is.
“Hey, Caitlyn. What’s up?” Linda said, holding a file and giving me a serious look.
Her eyes gave away nothing. No emotion, no nothing. Looks like that move didn’t work on her.
I pulled out the keepsakes my parents left me, the things that mean the world to me.
Linda's eyes widened, and she hesitated for a moment. She glanced around, then leaned in close to me.
