At about 3:30pm, we exited Highway 76 at the Chestnut Street exit, found a Holiday Inn, and settled in for the night. I sent Larry and Augie to find a car rental company. Mike and I took turns with the shower and waited for their return. They showed up a little later with a 65 Buick four-door sedan with Pennsylvania plates. After Larry and Augie had showered and changed clothes, we met up at the bar, next to the front desk, for a drink.
It didn’t take long to find Walnut Street, Upper Darby, not being a vast city. It was dusk when we pulled up in front of 7240 Walnut Street. We all looked at the white, shingled home on well-tended grass and a flower bed on both sides of the front of the house.
