Kane’s POV
I walked into Roman’s pack and my eyes went straight to the hottest woman I’d ever seen in my life.
Immediately I went to her. I knew we were about to head out but maybe when we got back, I could hook up with her.
Mustering up all my charm, I asked her what her name was, and she stated she was engaged.
As I was about to argue how engaged didn’t mean married, Roman walked in and introduced her as his mate.
Fuck! I freaked out and moved away from her quickly. There was no way I was touching my best friend’s woman. Even if we weren’t friends and I wanted her, Roman was crazy and would effortlessly kill me and probably enjoy it at the same time. I had never seen anyone fight like he does and so I was a bit surprised he called me for help in the first place.
