The strange guest

Selena POV:
I watched as both the Alpha and Luna had stiffened in their seats and Ethan looked appalled at my words but I didn't care, no matter how much they beat me or tried to torture me for my insolence, I will never put myself in the midst of chaos. I was not like them. The heavy wooden doors to the entrance of the hall swung open and Ethan's parents seemed... frightened as they jumped out of their seats and urged Ethan to do the same, I however, didn't care. I swung my head around to see who it was. The most gorgeous man that I had ever laid eyes on was walking into the room, his features were cold and sharp and his eyes burned amber or more like molten gold as they flickered to me and took me in but I couldn't be sure. For some reason, I felt tied to this person. "Raze," greeted the Alpha with forced friendliness but Raze's eyes never left mine, again the Alpha cleared his throat and Raze looked up at him annoyed. "August and Anna, how good to see you, after 18 years?" He asked and the Luna forced a smile on her face, "not exactly eighteen," she gritted through her teeth, "no, but in a month it will be," he smirked at her as his eyes travelled towards me. I frowned at the revelation, something wasn't right here and I needed to figure this out. My eighteenth birthday was in a month and it seems that ironically so is someone elses unless this is about me? I narrowed my eyes as I glanced between the Alpha and Raze. Who was this guy? Why was he so burning hot? And why, did he seem so interested in me? Whatever it is, it can't be good! "This must be your young son Ethan," said Raze turning his attention to Ethan, who seemed like a kettle about to blow it's top, "Ethan," gritted his mother, "don't be rude to our guest," she added. Things were getting so weird. Ethan continued to sulk and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "how about some drinks?" Asked The Alpha and Raze threw back his head and laughed like there was something funny or as if this was a party among friends and not some strange cryptic, on edge dinner. "That would be great August!" He exclaimed as he looked at me again, "will the little maid be serving?" He asked and this time Ethan growled, which only added to his amusement. "Seems like the puppy doesn't like to share his toys," jested Raze and everyone laughed dryly. I honestly couldn't comprehend any of this and my heart was racing for some reason. Everytime Raze looked at me, I could feel myself spike with adrenaline. I did not like the feeling at all but I didn't understand it either. The Luna snapped her fingers and stared at me annoyed as I slowly figured out she wanted me to get the so called drinks she offered. I rolled my eyes at her before walking away to get the drinks. I could feel their eyes burning holes into this pitiful excuse of a dress. I tried not to break my ankles as I hobbled over to the kitchen for a vintage bottle of red wine and glasses, "how is it going?" Asked Ro as she prepared the tray and I shrugged, "my feet hurt and they're all uncomfortable because some guy is here." Ro did not seem surprised and just nodded to me, "be on your best behavior!" I nodded and took the tray and left. When I had entered again, Ethan was clearly trying to control his wolf and the Alpha and Luna seemed very upset but not Raze, he was smiling and looking at me with much enthusiasm. "Lovely, the drinks have arrived!" He clapped his hands together in excitement, I don't know what was happening but something was definitely not right! I walked over, past Raze and Ethan to the Alpha and placed the tray down in front of him, "Selena," said Ethan's voice, "can you please go to my room and finish my homework, it seems I might be here awhile." I was annoyed by his stupid command and I was also relieved to leave this stupid hall. I nodded and made to bow to him, "no! Selena, that's your name, I remember now," said Raze which confused me because when did we ever meet, "come here!" His voice was silky and sweet like music and everything in me wanted to go to him and wrap my arms around his neck as I sat down on his lap but I couldn't explain it, I was frozen in place. "Selena," he called again, this time his smile seemed cold and his features seemed to darken, Ethan gripped my wrist in front of everyone and I looked down at him, "go and finish my homework now!" His parents had turned white, "Ethan, dear, stop your silliness, she will do the work later," tried to reason his mother, "let her serve our guest for awhile," she chuckled as she looked to Raze, "we are so sorry for our son's moodiness, it has been a trying day." Her eyes snapped to me and she threatened me with one of her looks that meant do what I want or I will whip the skin right off your back. I pulled my hand loose from Ethan's grip, his eyes begging me and walked over to Raze, who grabbed me firmly and spun me into his lap. Ethan let out a low growl. "Ethan, " said his father coolly, "why don't you go and finish your homework," he said to his son, "yes," agreed Raze as he sniffed my neck, "a virgin," he announced and everyone at the table seemed to stiffen more, "no, I think I will stay, we spoke about this before. She is my servant and I will do with her as I-" before he could finish the thought, Ethan was on the floor writhing in pain and all Raze had done was raise a finger. I was frozen in his lap, in his grip and a cold feeling had enveloped me. Who ever this man was. He was not good.
