1.A MAID'S DEPARTURE FROM HER HOME COUNTRY AND ARRIVAL TO SAUDI ARABIA Here she comes she is just 20 years of age her name is Tania a female Ugandan who decides to leave her country to go and work in Saudi Arabia to change her life status.She leaves home with too much excitement and joy of both a plane and earning a huge salary in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia,her family escorts her to the airport and she boards to Saudi Arabia,she got a seat next to a window and this made her very happy because she wanted to look outside all the time.The plane attendants communicated that all Passengers should tie their seat belts because the plane was ready to fly and they surely did.Tania's journey to Saudi Arabia began,but on the way she started thinking and worrying alot because of the news that used to come from Saudi Arabia alot of girls were dying sexually harrassed and others given heavy purnishments she asked herself is my employer good or bad?will they like me or no? will i return home safely or no alot of questions comes in her head but she is so much determined and focused that can't stop her.A MAID REACHES THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA.The journey was totally good and it took some good hours for the plane to reach the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Finally it reaches the plane attendants tell all Passengers to tie their seat belts because the plane was to land in few minutesit landed and all people got out of it Tania was so excited in reaching in another country her employers were already at the airport waiting for her because they knew she was comingThey showed her were to go and she met a lady in a black habaya well veiled as they always dress but she had a board with Tania's name and quickly Tania comes to her She wanted to hug her because she was happy to see someone comes for her but unfortunately the woman distanced herself from Tania. Tania feels small and laughs she told her lets go we are late, The lady's attitude scares Tania alot and she gets worried alot silently potraiting a picture of her new home in her heart,it was not a long distance from the airport and they reached their home all children stares at Tania She smiles but no body responds to her smile a woman showed her all the rooms to be cleaned and all the works to be done on a daily basis she gives her a very small room with keys and tells her this is your room from now Tania was so lucky because the woman could speak english since she was so much worried about languages barrier Tania try to communicate with children but they can't get her well because of her language. next morning a woman goes on shopping gets uniforms for Tania very big that she should put them all on a daily basis but there very big Tania tries to tell the woman the uniforms were very big but the woman stopped her and say change clothes and start working. Tania does all the work a woman cooks food and give Tania she seats on a table that was in kitchen the woman loudly shout at her saying you have to seat down not on my tables Tania feels sad but smiles and seats down she starts eating but food ain't going well because she is not used of it but she got to eat because she has to survive after she washes dishes and seats down Tania starts thinking about home and missing it badly but she has to accept the fact that she is now away from it The next day her employer tells her she should increase her speed since work was too much and she was going to start cooking in the next week The family has eighteen members and Tania alone has to attend to all these members A woman's voice is so very high and loud all the time she calls Tania she seem worried because she is always thinking maybe something is wrong.Tania so worried about the situation but she got to cope up with work this includes ironing, Washing, cleaning house all rooms and compound at large they also have pets at home including dogs and cats.The next day a woman tells Tania to always shower her pets and cut their nails this looks weird to Tania because she was so much scared of dogs work is so very hard and too much for a one person but she has nothing to do with it. Next day in the kitchen one of the sons comes touches her a*s Tania angrily looks at the son but he laughs at her loudly and he went back to his room Tania cries because this looks like an insult to her she continues with her work. Tania is not yet feeling comfortable in her new home as a house maid but she is just trying to hope for the best,There two old women in the house still Tania has to attend to them too,There so very old in that they can't even take themselves to toilets they use pampers this is to be done by Tania too and she does this more than 8 times in a day even in the middle of the night Tania has to wake up and change Pampers of the old women she don't get enough sleep and rest because all the time she is too busy with work Tania understands now that what she expected is not what she is experiencing now work without rest,too much working
