Chapter 3 - Mine

Levi’s POV

This gathering was becoming to much seeing all the other alphas with there Lunas by there side. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t find my mate … she must be out there right everyone has a mate or do I thought. Now un was starting to doubt myself entirely I was 28 and still hadn’t found her if she was even out there. I’d hoped maybe tonight I would but I’d had no such luck. I walked through the crowds towards the hall when the my beautiful scent smacked me in the face it smelt like a bed of lilies entwined with a fresh ocean breeze. I followed it as the scent grew stronger I heard shouting “You see why I rejected you Why on earth the moon goddess thought you where worthy of being my mate is beyond me”.

I heard the most enchanting voice I had ever heard but it was filled with such sadness it caused a dull ache within my chest. As I inched closer and closer a sound rippled through the hall and I saw him slap her. I stalked towards him fury filling my entire body how dare he touch my mate. The next few seconds where a blur I lost my control next thing I knew he was crawling away like a coward. I knew who he was Zachary Bluelake the next alpha of the blue lake pack. I had spoken to him a couple of times before he was very arrogant and hotheaded not a good combination for a pack leader he had a lot of work to do before he was ready to take over. My attention turned back to the girl my mate. She was breathtaking she wore a beautiful silk sapphire dress that hugged her body perfectly and made her eyes pop they shined bright like the moon sliver with hints of sapphire in them complimenting her dress perfectly. Her beautiful chocolate brown hair curled down framing her pale delicate skin. She was the most beautiful women I had ever laid my eyes on and she was mine. The second I touched her my whole body ignited. I carried her outside whilst mindlinking my beta Caleb to bring some ice for her bright red face. How dear he hurt her she was a vision of beauty I could only imagine she resembled the moon goddess herself because she looked like a goddess and she was all mine. My wolf was howling in my head “she’s real we found her our mate”.

I introduced myself and she seamed terrified her whole body was visibly shaking as I tried to re assure her. Her words cut through me like a sliver blade “ No No No not again” what did she mean why was she so hesitant I was elated and her my mate was looking like she had just been told someone died. Did she not want me not feel the rush of emotions I had. She made a Beline for the doors and back through the crowds as I followed quickly behind her. I reached out and gently grabbed her arm and pulled her back into me her body crashing against mine sending my wolf into a crazy frenzy he pressed forward and took over growling “MINE” the whole hall went silent everyone’s eyes fixated on me and my mate. She looked like a dear in headlights she stood frozen tears welling up in her eyes.

“I’m sorry please just come and talk with me 5 minutes is all I’m asking” I pleaded with her praying she would at least listen to me. As if breaking from a trance she reluctantly nodded her head and allowed me to lead her out the door back towards the balcony.

Sierannas POV

For some strange reason I agreed to follow him and hear him out. After him possessively claiming me in front of everyone I felt I didn’t have much choice. Although my wolf howling in my head about how dreamy he was and how ecstatic she was when he did that wasn’t helping. I couldn’t let her fall blindly in love again not after Zack he tossed us away like garbage the second he found out he didn’t want me. Levi wouldn’t be any different he’s an alpha he needs a strong mate by his side someone worthy of the Luna title not some broken, weak omega. But then the way he defended me left me wondering could he really be all that bad. He deserved the chance for me to hear him out at least I owed him that much for saving me from Zachary. We went back to the balcony the cool breeze sending a shiver down me. As if he could sense I was cold he walked closer to me taking his jacket off and draping it over my shoulders. “I’m sorry for snapping back there it was my wolf he pushed me out” I played over his words for a few moments before letting out a sigh “it’s okay my wolf is being difficult too at the moment”

I smile brushed his lips “oh really what’s she saying”. I shook my head before sealing my lips tighter. His eyes locked on to mine as he took hold of my hand sparks flying everywhere he touched like being electrocuted but not bad or painful more like my body and wolf where craving him. “ Look I understand this is a lot to take in but I know you want me just as badly as I want you and like I said I will never ever hurt you. I have searched for you for years and here you are and I’m not willing to let you go” he said with so much sincerity behind his voice . I took a moment before responding to carefully formulate my response.”look you don’t know me, you don’t even know my name. I have been here before I’m just a weak useless omega and you are a strong and powerful alpha we just aren’t compatible and I’m not doing this to myself or my wolf again you maybe all caught up by the bond right now but you will quickly tire of me realising I’m not good enough to be your mate” my heart was beating out of my chest as I continued “just save me the pain of this and reject me now before this gets to much to bare I know you will eventually anyway” his eyes flickered black again as they had in the hallway with Zachery earlier as he growled the following worlds “ Don’t anger me my petal you will not speak of me rejecting you again nor will you reject me and even if you do I won’t accept your rejection you are mine you belong to me now and nothing you can say will change my mind” Fear rushed over my entire body I wanted to run but I just froze his words full of anger but also hurt. “ From this moment on you belong to me and only me no other man is worthy of looking at you and god forbid they lay a finger on you I will tear them apart what you saw earlier was only the beginning of the lengths I will go to if anyone hurts you. Do you understand me petal” I went to run but as soon as I did he stepped out blocking my exit. “You can’t run from me I will always find you and bring you right back to me” with that he threw me over his shoulder and started to walk back inside.
