"Hey, wake up." My eyes shot open before my body leaned up. I looked around and saw that I was leaning on a tree, my bow and arrows were next to me and my cloak was hanging from a tree branch. I rubbed my head as the sound of birds chirping caught my attention.
"Forest." I mumbled. I looked up and saw the boys sitting in front of me. Ares on the other hand looked mad for some reason. "I-I'm sorry." I said before standing up and grabbing my bow and arrows.
"You'd be better off without me."
"Wait what?" I heard Glen say. It was all over Ares face. They stopped because I collapsed and I'm holding them up. "Don't think just do Titania." I grabbed my cloak and was about to throw it over my shoulders but a warm hand stopped me.
"Where are you going?" Ares voice was stern like he was a father worried about his child. "Somewhere." I mumbled. He just hummed before snatching my cloak out of my hands. I turned around and tried to take it from him but he raised his hand so I couldn't reach it.
"Ares give me my cloak."
"Why?"
"Because I'm the weakest link and I'm holding all of you back right? So let me go back to where I came from so I won't hold you back."
When I said that, his face softened and his hand dropped slightly. I took that chance to grab my cloak out of his hands but he didn't seem the bit effected by it.
"Titania wait, we were just worried because you collapsed out of nowhere." Fenrir said as I turned around. "Well you don't have to be worried about me anymore." I meant what I was saying but at the same time I didn't because at the same time, I wanted to stay with them. It made my heart ache as I started to walk away. I could hear the three of them calling my name. I then sighed before I turned around.
For the first time, Ares looked genuinely sad. His face was normally all grumpy or he was cocky but now, even his ears have a slight downfall. Even though my ears were smaller than his, I couldn't help but touch them as I looked down at the dirt. A sigh escaped my lips as I took a step forward. That was the biggest mistake of my life.
"Titania!" I heard the three of them yell as I fell into darkness. I then looked around to see if I could see anything but to no avail. There was nothing down here. "Burning hands." I tried to light my hands but my magic wasn't working. "What?" I mumbled as I tried a few more times and it still didn't work. The lights then came on and I was in a cage surround by blue crystals. I looked in front of me and saw a blue pathway with a red carpet. A single door at the end.
"Where am I?"
"Titania? Titania?!" Fenrir yelled as the three boys ran over to where the girl fell at. Glen moved the sticks and leaves out of the way but no Titania. She was gone like a speck of dust. "It had to be a spell." Glen said as he looked up at Fenrir. Fenrir bit his lip before running his hands through his hair. "We have to get back to our sitting and talk to the tree god and fast."
Ares was pasting around back and fourth until he saw Titania's cloak and her bow an arrow. He then picked it up before trowing it over his shoulders.
"Where do you think she could be?" Glen asked.
"My guess, Elias." Ares said with slight anger in his voice. The three boys then quickly made their way to their city where their house resides in. It a a huge treehouse, probably the biggest house in the entire city.
"Fenrir." Ares called out as the boy nodded his head. He then got on his knees and intertwined his hands together while softly chanting. Fenrir was the most religious one out of all of them so he's more likely to get in contact with their tree god.
Glen was resting against the wall with his clothes as the other two boys were waiting for him to get done. Ares was on edge. He couldn't stop pasting around the room with his heavy footsteps, as the echoed throughout the room.
"Ares calm down." Ares looked over at Glen with wide eyes. "Calm down? Did you seriously just tell me to calm down?" Ares was in shock at Glen's words as he scuffed before sitting down in a chair and crossing his arms.
Fenrir then finally opened his eyes before looking at his companions. "I didn't really get much but what I did get was that she was in a cage in a big room." Ares threw his hands in the air like he was giving up.
"Elias is the only person who could be responsible for taking her."
"But think about it, we don't know anything about him let alone Titania."
Fenrir ran his hands through his hair before biting his lip. He had to think but he knew that Glen was right. They knew nothing about those two, especially Titania. She was like a total stranger if you think about it. Titania was just like any girl who walked down the streets of any city.
"If we know nothing about her then what makes you think we're gonna find him." Ares sucked in his teeth before crossing his arms over his chest and closing his eyes. He didn't say anything after that, it was just silence in the room before Fenrir spoke up.
"Titania's a wizard right?"
Glen raised his eyebrow. "Yeah why?"
Ares looked up at Glen before looking at Fenrir.
"The Mages College."
"Sorry we can't let you in." The front gate guard said as they blocked the entrance. Ares sucked in his teeth before groaning. "Listen your in my way so move, we have business." Fenrir put his hands over Ares chest before looking at the guards and smiling.
A loud thud could be heard from the entrance as Glen sighed. "Jeez don't kill them." He said as Ares dropped the now unconscious guard on the ground, Fenrir doing the same. They then walked inside the Mages College and looked around. They weren't necessarily famous there but nor where they welcome at some point.
"Look, that hallway should lead to the Headmasters office." Glen said as they all turned around. Ares strut forward ahead of the two boys and kicked down the door of the office. Glen was in panic as he held his hands up.
"Why." He mumbled before looking up. The fire place was lit and there was a giant painting sitting above it. It was a little girl with pretty purple eyes and long purple hair and white streaks. Sitting below the fire place was a man with long dark purple wavy hair with long pointy ears.
"The Headmaster."
