07: Rescue

"Oh I have visitors." The Headmaster said as he closed the book that was in his hands. A small smile crept across his cheeks as he signaled the three boys to come in and sit down.  "Please." His voice was nice and gentle like a lullaby. Fenrir walked in first and looked around the room to get aware of the room. After Glen and Ares finally walked in, the door then stood back on its henges.  "What can I do for you boys? I mean it's not odd for a human, an elf and a tiefling to walk though my doors." He smiled before tilting his head.  "We're here about a student who could possibly go here. Her names Titania, she was captured." The Headmasters facial expression changed. His eyes then glared down at the three boys. "Due explain to me why you let my daughter get captured." Ares breath hitched before Fenrir spoke. "She's your daughter?" He nodded his head before spinning around in his chair and standing up to look at the painting. He put his hand over it before looking back at the three boys.  "Well we're sorry on her behalf but we really need your help to find her." The Headmaster was hesitant at first but at the same time he had to get his daughter back no matter what the cause was. A soft sigh escaped his lips before he grabbed a piece of paper. The dark haired man started to write down a map to where he thinks she might be but at the same time, she never listened to him as a child and she was always off doing her own things so he probably doesn't even know where she is. "If she's not there then I can't give you anymore information but if you can't find my daughter then there'd be hell to pay, understand?" The Headmaster glared before Ares answered.  "Yeah."  "Question."  Glen said as he pointed towards the painting. It may be an old painting but that doesn't explain much to Glen because Titania's eyes are brown and in the painting they're a rare shade of purple. He was intrigued by the painting but all the Headmaster did was smile. "The painting is of you and Titania so why is her eyes a rare shade of purple when her eyes are brown?" The Headmaster smirked before sitting back in his chair and intertwining his fingers together as he leaned back.  "You have a keen eye boy but that is a question I can't answer." The Headmaster closed his eyes as he recalled memories of his daughter. Happy ones, sad ones, the times she learned magic, a soft laugh came from his lips before his eyes opened yet again. "I will say this though, she's not what or who you think she is." He raised his eyebrow with sudden suspicion in his eyes.  Glen didn't trust what the older man was saying but he didn't say a word as Fenrir grabbed the map from the desk and they left. Now that they have a possible clue on where she might be at, they set out to follow the map. Glen on the other hand just was thinking about what the Headmaster was saying. "She's not what or who you think she is...?" Glen mumbled as he put his finger on his lip. That was stuck on his mind for about an hour and it hasn't left his thought not once.  "Glen." Fenrir called out and the boy was snapped out of his trance. He looked up at his paladin friend before speaking. "Yeah?"  "The map ends here." Glen raised his eyebrow before taking the map from Fenrir's hands and looking at it. It was a dead end. But how? Why? Glen took the paper from Fenrir's hand and looked around to see that there were only trees everywhere. But there was one huge tree in front of them that looked odd in Glen's eyes. The boy then tilted his head and walked towards the tree before touching its trunk. He pushed his hands against it before the trunk caved in to darkness. Glen turned around and looked at his two friends before nodding their heads as they all dived into the pitch black darkness.  I groaned as I scratched my wrist with my long nails. I have no idea how long I've been in this cage but it's honestly starting to get boring. "Hungry?" I heard Elias ask as he sat a plate of food into the cage. I didn't bother to try and eat any of it even though I was really hungry.  "I don't want your food." I mumbled as I folding my arms against my chest. Elias just chuckled before sitting in the chair that was in front of the cage. I raised my eyebrow at him before he smiled at me.  "How long have I been in here?" I asked. "2 days." I scuffed. No wonder I feel like it just happened yesterday. I didn't have anymore to say to him so I just closed my eyes and sighed.  "Come on Titania you can't hate me forever, you know you love me." That triggered me.  "I have and will never love you." Elias just scuffed before staring straight at me. He didn't say anything, all he did was stare at me like I was a whole different person. "Sir." Someone finally broke the silence between us.  "We have intruders." Elias hummed as he threw his fingers in the air. "Let them come, their here for her anyways." The cage then disappeared and I looked around confused before I felt cold chains wrap around my body. I didn't like the feeling of chains on my body and it always made me feel like I had no freedom. I was scared and Elias knew that.  "Elias." I blurted out softly. He didn't move an inch as the door at the end of the pathway blew up. I looked up and saw my three friends standing at the entrance. A smile crept across my lips. "You guys came for me." A small tear came down the side of my cheek as I heard Fenrir shout.  "Let her go."  "Oh?"  Elias stood up and turned around before holding his right hand up. He made a specific hand sign that I knew. With that, Ares, Glen and Fenrir stopped moving. The hold person spell. That's a spell I rarely use myself but it does come in handy for situations like this but the wrong person is using it. "Why is my body not moving?" I heard Ares grunt. "It's a spell." Glen retorted. "Tell me what do any of you know about Titania?" Elias asked but they didn't answer. That's right they know anything about me. My heart suddenly sank as I looked down at the ground. I couldn't even answer Elias. Why was he asking them that question though? Was he trying to gain something?  "Tell me has she ever told any of you about her past?" I knew Elias had a smirk on his face from the way his voice changed. He then turned around and started walking towards me. "So let's hear the depressing tale of Titania shall we?"
