CHAPTER 9As Ryan returned to the condo he shared with Rebecca, he realized leaving New York would mean so many of the issues surrounding the end of their relationship would be left unresolved. At the very least, he would emphasize that their relationship was irrevocably broken.
“I’m leaving on Wednesday. Not sure when I’ll be back. I’m sure you’ll be glad to have the place to yourself.” Ryan’s tone insinuated that Rebecca would be able to “entertain” a guest without him in the next room. “Where are you going?” Rebecca asked.
