CHAPTER 11Thanks to the list Anne had compiled, Miles and Ryan spent the next few days exploring a wide variety of sites in southeastern Wisconsin. They walked several miles of the historic Geneva Lake Shore Path, which circumnavigates Lake Geneva; took a tour of iconic Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in Racine and Milwaukee; browsed the Harley Davidson Museum, where they were dazzled by the sculpture-like machines on display; took a tour of Lakefront Brewery, which concluded with a fish fry and beer tasting; and they even climbed the 178 steps up to the top of the Holy Hill Basilica to view the snow-covered Wisconsin countryside with the skyline of downtown Milwaukee off in the distance.
