CHAPTER 14Miles spent the morning in the office going over his open cases with Anne. She had all five files ready to go when he arrived shortly after nine o’clock. He quickly reviewed each one. “These four are complete except for the write-ups and invoices,” Miles said as he handed them back to her for disposition.
