My Dad, my Dad. Why do you love me this much? You cleansed me of the filth that disfigured me, You healed me of my sicknesses and diseases, you restored my soul, my body and my spirit and made it one with yours. Your Spirit chose my heart as its dwelling place, you gave me a sword and a shield to protect me from my foes. Your word became my guns and ammo with which I fight the evil that tries to mislead me.
My Dad my Dad, how can I ever repay your kindness? For in dire situations, your love gave me hope, your love o loving Dad made me strong, I swim in your love, and I would swim till I am drowned in it. A spring of wisdom you planted in me, a fountain of knowledge mine for keeps, and understanding immeasurable as the sand on the seashore.
Bless my Dad, o ye nations, obeisance and respect to Him. What may I offer as a sacrifice of gratitude? for you have caused my fig to blossom, my olives to multiply, my vine to lift souls and make merry hearts. My treasuries overflow with silver and gold because your word told it to, precious stones you made as garments for my skin, my livestock fat, and their offspring enough to feed several nations and still remain in abundance, the earth not enough to build stores for my harvest of grain, new wine, and oil.
The best of my treasures however still rests in your abode, because my heart longs to sit at your feet, listening to you reminding it of your undying love. Bless my Dad, o my soul, let everything that is me give thanks to Him.
