Hello...

Chapter 3 - Reasons

After some discussion on where to start, they agreed to look for the people who died with them. Walking down the halls, they searched for familiar faces.

They found several people from the fire.

First, Kailey on the library. A timid nerd who's more comfortable staying at the back of the group than mingle and talk. She has burnt marks on her torso, arms, and legs.

Second, Keiran on the top bleachers in the gym. He's Kailey's twin. The sociable and outgoing guy who gets along with everyone. The back of her head was burnt along with his back.

Third, Samantha on the last cubicle at the girls' comfort room. Of course this one Jason did not went in with Ellie. Saying it's not right for him to be there. Sam is a girl in her class and is a member of the student organization. She has her hands, arms, and lower half of her body burnt.

Fourth, Heath on the clinic. He's a tall brooding guy. One of the bad boys of the school. Always looking unapproachable. He's got half of lower face burnt, his neck, and chest area.

And lastly, Mila on one of the classrooms. They're right, she did not got out. She was very bitter. Screeching at them to leave her alone. Half of her face was burnt with her breast area, thighs, and arms.

It took some time to convince the first three to join them, Heath put up some fight, but Mila was the hardest to convince. She was very bitter yelling at the six of them.

When she finally agreed to join them, she was very uncooperative. Always wanting to get her way.

However, one time Heath lost it. He yelled her down, told her to shut up and to stop being such a B. From then on he kept an eye on her. He glued her to him to keep her in line. He made sure she stays quiet most of the time. Always staring her down.

Over the weeks that they stayed together, the ghosts thought of reasons as to why they can't leave and what's keeping them from leaving.

They've thought everything they could. From climbing through the school fences, to trying to pass through walls, and even trying to make themselves known to the living by doing stupid things to get their attention.

Nothing.

Nothing seems to work.

They're still stuck.

They're still here.

Watching the living go on with their lives.

Faces who basked in the glow of life. Oblivious to the torment their dead school mates is going through while watching them walk by alive and breathing.

While hope seems lost, sunshine creeped on their gloomy days in the form of Kailey. The bright girl came up with an idea that moved them into action.

Making hope blossom once more upon these lost souls chasing after peace.
