I was more than ready to go home. It had been a few days since the council’s visit and we hadn’t heard anymore. It was eerily quiet. Obviously the rumour mill was going but as yet very little had been heard from Sapphire Lake. It was probably too optimistic to assume that Iris killed that piece of work alpha there but I had a sinking suspicion we might have heard if she had.
Flora had let Thea heal her again and was looking better. She needed her wolf to heal fully but we hadn’t made any headway there. Kora had been looking into breaking her bind but apparently these things were better broken as they had been designed to or by the casting witch. As we didn’t have any idea where to look that was probably a lost cause.
