Marty was staring at Flora. The look of surprise and adoration turning to confusion as she got up and ran from the table.
“Wait, why are you running.” He tried to follow but everyone was on their feet, blocking his exit. I could see his eyes following her, trying to scan her neck for a mark .
Thankfully despite trying to mark her numerous times they hadn’t never managed as she had been too young when they tried so the mark simply healed. It was just sheer luck they hadn’t tried since she turned 18, there was every possibility that she might have got her wolf if they had.
Leaving Luke to explain everything to Marty I went after Flora.
