I struggled to accept Luke’s words last night not because I didn’t think he meant them. I could feel through our bond he did but because it made me feel like I didn’t deserve this perfect mate.
While he had fallen asleep I was saved from trying sleep myself by my phone ringing.
“Thea.” Iris shrieked into the phone. “My waters have broken.”
“Oh, do you feel anything yet ? Do you want me to come to Blue Moon.”
“Yes please. Can you come now, nothing is happening… I’m panicking.”
“I’m on my way.”
I hung up and woke Luke immediately.
“Luke… Luke .. wake up. It’s time. We need to go to Blue Moon”
He rubbed his tired eyes. “I’m up, I’m’ up. I’ll get ready.” He got up from the bed in a daze and looked around.
“Got get the car, I’ll get our stuff.”
