“They’re going to have to move the weapons while the boat is docked. Those trunks would sink the lifeboats, which would be the only other way to transport them other than a wagon,” Todd said.
“I suppose you think that’s the way we’ll find Snow?” Heidi asked. Nick thought she didn’t sound convinced.
“Won’t one lead to the other?” Nick stuffed his hands in his pockets as they walked. Todd and Heidi turned at the same time to look at him. “Well, won’t it? Snow will probably want to make sure the shipment isn’t lost. If he can’t get it on the boat, he’ll transport it on land. And it’s possible he re-boarded and we wouldn’t know.”
Heidi arched an eyebrow. Todd snickered, winked at Nick, and said, “He’s usually right.”
