Shaw laid on his back with his adorable chipmunk mate curled up on his naked chest tickling him with his little fur body.
When Rey had removed the chest tube and IVs, he had Law order Midnight to shift. Everyone was worried that the healing might not work. He had been seriously injured and closer to death than Shaw ever wanted to see either of his mates again. Shaw knew had it not been for Rey, his mate would have died. He and Law would owe that man for all eternity.
Rey let them bring him back to their room. Law had insisted they shower the smell of dirt and fear from their bodies. Not wanting to leave Midnight alone, Shaw had gone first, and Law was in there now.
