I was packing up my stuff from my room at Eric and Jill’s house. I was headed back to the university so I can finally graduate now that I did my externship.
There was a knock on my door, and Jill came in with baby Marcus.
“Hey, baby boy.” I said to the baby as I took him from Jill.
“Just seeing if you need any help.” Jill said as she looked away from me.
“I’m good, it’s really just clothes I’m packing.” I told her.
“I’m going to miss you. You have no idea how much I am going to miss you. I knew this was temporary but you really have been a huge help with everything around here.” Jill told me.
“I’m going to miss you guys, especially this little guy. I think he stole my heart.” I said as I snuggled with Marcus.
