We won against the Steelers. The locker room was bursting with cheers. I love when my team wins, the excitement is contagious.
I just got out of the shower and was at my locker changing into my street clothes.
“Johnson, man you were on fire tonight.” One of my teammates said as he snapped his towel at me.
“Well, you know my buddy is a Steeler, had to knock him on his ass.” I laughed.
“Yeah, but something different about you today. It’s like you are happy.” He said to me.
“Wait, Johnson is happy? Did hell freeze over?” I heard another player laugh.
