We have a whiteboard on the fridge for messages and reminders. I erased everything on it—old messages like "need milk" that we no longer needed. I wrote:
**House Meeting 7 PM—everyone must be there. Housemates only.**
When I get to my first class, I debate whether I should also send a text. I want to eliminate any excuses from Brett about not knowing about the meeting. The only reason we are even having this meeting is because of him. He has only lived in the house for four days now and has already disrupted Anthony's and my lives.
After the lecture, I go to my usual spot between classes: the coffee shop. From there, I can send out the text. I get my caramel latte and find a spot to sit when a familiar blonde comes over to me.
