Three Weeks Later:
“You really don't have to do this, Vanessa. I swear I can manage. I'm not that helpless.” Jackson tried to fight me as I helped him settle down on the sofa in his living room.
“Yes, you are. And it's time you started accepting that. You just survived a car crash that put you in a coma. You're no superman, Jackson. It's okay to admit you're in pain and need help.” I don't even know why I am crying now.
Thankfully, he has been discharged today after the painful ordeal he has been put through for the last three weeks.
