Chapter Forty-OneLow cloud hung like a blanket over Towan Point, the lighthouse shrouded in sea mist. Rumbles of thunder echoed along the coast, strobes of blue lightning illuminating the night. Inside the lighthouse, five females lay together near the top of the stone steps, Malcolm trying his best to watch over them as tiredness assailed him. The three girls had succumbed to exhaustion, gently snoring on an old tarpaulin sheet.
