Chapter Twenty-SixA memory flickered to life. A weak flicker, with hardly any strength. However, it held, as another vision from the past joined it, entwining with it as more and more recollections gravitated inwards. Images formed, an auburn-haired woman looking down, cooing gently as two sets of pink feet pointed towards the sky. The face was familiar, a warm sensation taking hold of its host. The scene changed, two men one with the long grey hair, the other, completely bald stood at the edge of a forest. They were joined, kin, with ruddy smiling faces. A smile formed on the host's lips, remembering the scene from another time and place. The grey-haired man puffed contentedly on a pipe, blowing a plume of smoke into the wind as the other man set a large axe on the grass. A finger twitch
