Amabell My eyes opened to darkness. The sound of something dripping next to my head was the only thing I could hear. Where ever I was, the hard cement ground was cold and uncomfortable. I was able to move my legs up but as soon as I turned onto my stomach a splitting headache shot it's way through my skull. I groaned and fell back to the floor. My hair was soaked and sticking to the side of my face. My nose felt sticky and hard like something wet had dried on it. From the penny taste in my mouth I was sure it was blood. Again I tried getting to my feet, fighting back the pain as much as I could. Once on my feet I stumbled around to feel my way to a wall. Instead I found bars. Cold steel bars of a cell.
