I wasn't sure if Reid was just being brave or plain stupid, but he did as he said and stuck around. Jude was taking it pretty lightly considering everything that was said. I stole glances over at Reid, who didn't look at me once. While everyone got ready, packing little things like extra blood packets and weapons, I sat back uncomfortably. No one asked questions about what went down. I think they were all just as uncomfortable as I was. "Ready whenever you are," Jordana told Jonan. He nodded to her and she turned to me. "Don't worry, he's gonna be back and safe in no time," she tried to reassure me. I smiled and watched her walk out with Jonan and Jake. "We'll me you there," Jake said before leaving.
