Once we get inside, the night is starting to take over. I don’t mind since my eyes can adjust to the dark. Ominous took the jug and got back to his book.
"Next, I will need you to get scales from the giant sea serpent. It lives in the body of water south from here, and it comes out often at night. You might be able to catch it before you go to sleep."
"How am I to get the scales from it?"
"Here!" He hands me a knife from his belt.
