Kaya POV I was taking my connection with Zaan to the next level. We were having a good time in the storeroom when my mum appeared. I slammed the door shut. After she caught me with Zaan, my blood dripped from my body. She dialled father's number, but he didn't answer. As a result, when father did not answer the phone, she allowed Zaan to return to his home. I'm afraid to say anything in front of her. “You will not leave your slutty thing, this is what you do in our back,” she added, clutching my hair in her fingers. I gasped in pain and attempted to get my hair out of her grip. She took me into the home and shoved me to the floor. I clenched my teeth in anguish and sobbed, my gaze falling to the ground. I silently listen to everything she says. She drew closer to me and slapped me across the face. My heart was breaking, and before I could say anything, she walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. I was terrified that she would inform my father and that things would spiral out of control. To get into my room, I repeatedly slammed the door shut. I yelled for Ben to open the door after receiving no response. “I couldn't open the door, she has firmly prevented us from opening the door,” she says from the other side of the door. I recognised her predicament and asked her to move the phone to another part of my room. I awoke with a cold on the ground early the next morning. I had a sneaking suspicion that something horrible would happen to me. I sipped some water and approached the door, peering through the keyhole. Then I noticed my mum seated next to Zaan's mother. I became concerned about what she was doing here. I knelt down and attempted to hear what they were saying. “She is not good for your son as we received a complaint about her slutty thing a few months ago, it's better you make your son understand it as soon as possible,” my mum said. “I will speak with him, and these things will not be repeated,” Zaan's mother added. I was heartbroken because, instead of progressing, things had gone wrong, and we were on the verge of collapsing. While laying in bed, I was patiently waiting for someone to answer the door. After a while, I flinched as the door opened and my father became enraged as if he were a devil. He carried his belt in one hand and a stick in the other. I was afraid he'd beat me up again. “You wouldn't leave slutty thing, I gave you last warning, but you repeated it again,” he said as he slammed his belt against my palm. I began to wail and howl in pain, accompanied by a belt and a stick. He sat in the chair, clenching his teeth, and dialled my mother's number. She was also terrified of my father's angry side, so she pretended to be an innocent youngster. He gave her a frown and asked, "Why did you let that boy go?" If this w***e tarnishes my reputation, I will kill both of you. “I would not want our reputation to be tarnished, so I first requested her to bring the phone and shattered it,” my mother said, caressing her face and staring at me with her nose flaring. I was told by the boy's mother that she had spoken to his brother once.” My father moved up closer and pulled my hair firmly. I started crying as I winced in pain. “Go and fetch the phone right now, if you want Zaan to live,” he added gruffly. My nose furrowed, and my gaze was drawn downward, indicating a heavy heart. Not only that, but I tripped and now lack the courage to walk. As a result, I took small steps to my room, while Ben watched my face with concern. “If both of you are safe,” she said, handing me the phone and wiping her eyes, “then only in the future you will be able to converse, but if anything happens to anyone, it will be extremely tough for him.” With the phone in my hand, I gently returned to my parents. I knelt down in front of my father and placed the phone in front of him; he threw it on the ground and stepped on it to pressurise it. The mobile was shattered; it had been brought about by his savings, and it pained me that it was now shattered. My mother rushed over to Ben, hugging her hand to her body, her body froze with fear. “She brought this mobile for her, Zaan has given to her to gift to Kaya,” my mother mocked. My father clenched his teeth and struck her across the face. The smack had left a red mark on her face, and she began to cry. “Pick up this litter and dump it in the garbage can,” my father replied, glaring at me. I was staring at my phone, unable to summon the confidence to toss it away. “Have you not listened to what I said, you want more slaps to listen properly?” he yelled again. Despite my fear of putting up the phone's pieces and crawling to the trash can, I did it. I peered intently at the pieces, tears streaming down my cheeks as I tossed the phone parts into the garbage can, and my mother grinned maliciously from ear to ear. She had not even attempted to stop me from being beaten, but had instead acted as a bystander, watching us beat one other and having a good time. I had hoped she would understand and support me, but she has proven me wrong time and time again. Later, father raised his hand to spank Ben once again. Because of my rationale, I stood in front of her to protect her from her father's abuse. “Improve yourselves and forget about that boy,” my father remarked, grimacing at both of us. He left the room after nodding our heads. “You two are forbidden to leave the room,” my mother remarked flatly. She then shut the door and left us alone. “Are you okay?” I softly caress Ben's face. “I am fine, it was just a slap,” she grumbled as she wiped her eyes. “I think that boy whom I had beaten in the party had cursed me.” Then she simply smiled at me, and I chuckled at her as she shifted her weight and continued to support me. I hope Zaan is secure and has moved on with his life. It's my responsibility for not checking up, and these issues have arisen as a result. We heard a voice on the other side of the door the next day. As I approached the door, I heard Ashi's voice. What she was doing in this place perplexed me. The door was then opened, and my mother and Ashi entered. In addition, my mother gave me a cold stare and stated, "5 minutes to talk to her." She then left us alone and slammed the door behind her. “Zaan, had told me everything, are you okay?” Ashi inquired, her face concerned. Tears welled up in my eyes as she hugged me firmly and warned me to stay away from Zaan for few days. I slowly nodded my head and asked her to at least message him on FaceTime about the situation. She then asked me to write it down, so I quickly wrote down, “I could not connect you as the mobile was also caught, and it was broken by my father yesterday, so I could not talk you anymore.” Please don't forget about me; I'll be waiting for you till I die. If you chose to go on in your life, you would not have to deal with these problems because of me. I wouldn't stop you because it was the beginning of your life, and you had a long and pleasant path ahead of you. This is my final message to you, and please stay safe. I wish you the best of luck in your life, and I love you. I folded the paper into a small cheat sheet, which Ashi stuffed into her jeans pocket. She hugged me and said softly, "Take care of yourself, and I'll see you again." I gave her a simple nod and she walked out of the room.
