Tempesta is certainly the symbol of a harsh and rude woman, she’s the epitome of violence in Holorealm. She’s in love with something unusual for girls, she’s unlike any other woman he encounters. Tempesta smiles at Anthony as she continues her conversation as usual as if nothing happens.
“Anyway, you’re new around the neighborhood” Kani looks at Anthony in curiosity. “Have I seen you before? I don’t think so”.
“Oh I saw his house once, he’s sharing his hobbies about his retro RPG game” Tempesta grins at Anthony. “My hunch is saying that we will get along pretty well”.
Tempesta stands up and pats Anthony’s shoulder, the introvert casanova grins sheepishly when Tempesta notices his invisible presence. At first, he was overwhelmed with the number of followers and admirers Tempesta had, he doesn’t feel as if he belongs in that house, not even worthy to talk to the cold girl Tempesta.
However, her attitude proves that she sees everyone equally despite her followers in Holorealm. She doesn’t take any dramas headed straight to her, she faces it head-on with her straightforward personality. No filters in her wording, she just spits whatever she wants to spit on the people who twist the truth and overcomplicated things.
She brings the harsh truth of reality in front of the person who humiliates her, it’s something that Anthony somewhat admires. Anthony’s fidgety and nervous personality wouldn’t be able to say things outwardly just as she does. Not long after, two men enter the house; knocking on her front door.
“Hey, I’m here,” the gentle voice says from the other side of the door. “You’re calling me here, for a reason right?”.
It’s a man with another crimson eye, but a pattern one. He can deduce that the eyes pattern comes from the avatar gacha where everyone can participate but few can get. It uses real-time money, but it’s affordable through some cheap means sometimes. He’s wearing a vampire outfit, the four stars outfit that only a few can get.
The username above his head is Yellow, he sits next to Kani but Anthony notices that Yellow keeps his distance away from Kani.
“I was told to call you here because someone had an idea to-”.
“Let me continue that for you” a foreign voice comes out from the doorsteps.
A pale-looking avatar with his yellow cat eyes enters the house in confidence, his slick hairstyle what makes him look elegant despite his common T-shirt look, along with the slippers he wears. He introduces himself as Sandy. The young man in slippers suggests that they should form a discord server where everyone who loves games can gather around to discuss their favorite games with ease.
“You mean gaming community? That sounds fun” Tempesta smiles. “So who’s in charge of the server?”.
Everyone gazes at the girl at the center, Tempesta notices the gaze as she scratches the back of her head. She asks the crowd about it, pretending not to know what they’re talking about. Sandy agrees that Tempesta should be the leader since she’s the most enthusiastic about games in general.
She’s a true game whiz, perhaps the most adorable and nerdy game fan from all girls. Sandy proposes they create a discord server for everyone to chat and hang out with. Free of dramas, the purpose of the discord server is to bond people together through playing games together. Yellow agrees with Sandy’s proposal, he recommends Tempesta to take her role as a leader.
Anthony is sitting in the middle of the important conversations, a nobody who happened to stumbled upon an important discussion between them about the creation of Tempesta’s new gaming community. Kani doesn’t talk much as well, he merely listens to their conversation and nod along the way.
Anthony fidgets his fingers, is nervous, and perhaps feels as if he doesn’t belong there. He was about to leave but then Tempesta calls his name.
“Your name is Nullword, right? Why don’t you join our discord server community? I’m sure you will like the server since all of us are fans of games” Tempesta offers the quiet man. “Kani and Nullword will be our first members in the server!”.
Anthony widens his eyes, somewhat surprised that he’s finally adopted into someone else community. He has always been against joining a random group because he dislikes drama. However, he feels at ease if the leader is someone as uncomplicated as Tempesta. He feels reassured that she won’t be as melodramatic as the previous girls he hung out with.
After all, the casanova knows that he’s been attracting unwanted attention due to his somewhat gentle words. He wonders if Tempesta is indeed different from all the girls he met before, he wants to put his faith in Tempesta, whether the girl is as trustworthy as what the rumors said about her.
“She might be rude and can be unapproachable at times, but when you enter her packs! That’s a different story” the whispers in Anthony’s head become louder, remembering the gossip and rumors he heard in Holorealm. “She’s protective of her friends, and she will fight for what is right and wrong”.
“So what’s the name of the discord server? The community we’re going to build?” Sandy asks everyone in the house. “You guys have any ideas?”.
Tempesta crosses her legs as she smirks arrogantly.
“Crimson is the name of our group” she answers firmly. “It will be the proof that our furry and passion for games are undying, wearing the sleeves of bravery and courage! We’re the Crimson Family”.
“The leader has spoken, there you go” Yellow chuckles. “As expected of Tempesta, she’s quick to understand things! I agree with the name! It sounds kind of anime-ish though, your *chunibyo words are a bit cringe, Tempesta”.
Tempesta blushes in different shades of red, stomping her feet on the ground embarrassedly.
“I know that! No need to remind me!” she growls. “That will be the name of our group, okay? Everyone is welcomed to enter here, especially those who want to grow together with no drama involved”.
With that statement, the rowdy Tempesta invites Kani and Anthony to the gaming community group called Crimson.
*chunibyou means a Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose delusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers.
