He’s back at Holorealm Brownwood, dejected with the view before him. Anthony goes back to the city square through the teleportation device, he wonders if his discomfort had something to do with the man who sits next to her comfortably. The arrogance in his eyes shows his intention, he wants to do something with the girl next to him.
He doesn’t know what it is, but Kani has been giving him odd feelings. Kani is approaching her as if he’s in love with her. Then again, it shouldn’t be his problem in the first place. However, he had an inkling that Kani will do something she doesn’t like.
Anthony looks back inside the house, he was left behind in that discussion even if she tries her best to include him in the conversation. His friends are waiting for him near the teleportation device. He elbows him, asking if he manages to seduce the cold tyrant to her knees. Anthony shakes his head whilst giving his friends a dirty look.
“She may be rude at times, but she’s a good girl” Anthony insists. “Don’t say that about her!”.
Anthony groans as he left Brownwood Forest, leaving the view of the pine trees, and wild animals behind to the City Square. His friends cheer him up, but none of their words affect him now. The girls are using this opportunity to approach the confused Anthony, seducing him while he’s confused.
“Anthony, why are you visiting that rude girl’s house? Don’t you have us?” one of the girls cling their hand on Anthony’s arm.
Anthony brushes them away, he sees people passing by him while whispering to each other.
“Hey, that chick Tempesta is so different than any girl I’ve met! She’s pretty chill to hang out with” one of the men whispers to the man next to her. “Moreover, she’s a game addict! A true gamer girl, unlike any other girls around us you know!”.
It seems more people come to her house, even if it’s a virtual house but he notices that most of his online friends are all males. He decides to return to the teleportation device to check her house.
His friends seem to be confused but follow Anthony in the end. Anthony returns to Brownwood Forest where he sees a bunch of online gamers, males especially; entering her house.
“She’s so popular” Anthony rubs his chin as he peeks from the windowed door, looking at the sole girl who sits between the men. “Among men, that’s for sure, she doesn’t have any online friend with the same gender, huh?”.
He’s knocking on the door, entering the room with several people chatting about Monster Hunter this time. Tempesta is welcoming him even if she’s preoccupied with the others, a part of his heart melts when she smiles at him in a friendly gesture. The strange thing is even if she doesn’t play the game, her enthusiasm makes her easy to approach.
She asks about the person’s favorite weapon along with the stats he uses as if he’s playing even though she doesn’t. Tempesta is indeed a true gamer like what everyone else says, she doesn’t fake her enthusiasm for fame, she simply love games and other things that are related to games.
“I’m not particularly into Monster Hunter” Kani replies the stranger. “But it’s the most popular game in the Steam and Playstation network”.
“I mean of course it would Kani, it’s an open-world RPG with a bit of hack and s***h! Everyone loves that, mostly I think” Tempesta grins. “Oh, welcome back Nullworld! We’re talking about Monster Hunter now, don’t worry about not understanding the topic! I don’t even play Monster Hunter that much”.
Anthony sits on the couch, rather he sits on the edge of the couch since the couch is full of people crowding around Tempesta. As usual, she’s friendly and approachable but at the same time, Anthony’s low self-esteem makes it hard for him to start a conversation with Tempesta. The tomboyish girl Tempesta has always been ready with her jokes and laughter.
“Geez, no wonder you have so many guy friends?” someone commented with a laugh. “Tempesta, you can build your own harem friends”.
Anthony was out of words, it’s strange and somewhat improper for someone to comment that way with someone he just met. The young man was about to comment something but he was then cut off by Tempesta herself. Her comment is cold and rather selfish, rather logical but distant.
“So what? Does gender define my friendship circle? No, right? What’s in it for you to say such ways” Tempesta stands from her seat coldly. “You think I would be flattered with your mindless mouthing?”.
The one who commented just laugh awkwardly as he stands up from the seat, leaving Tempesta’s house in a hurry. It appears Tempesta was angered by that, she sits on the couch again while rubbing her forehead.
“You’re angry about that, huh?” Kani chuckles. “You should consider that as a compliment, I mean it’s rare for a girl-”.
“It doesn’t sound like a compliment Kani, I don’t like the way he says it” she growls like an angry leopard. “If I can tear him apart, I would gladly do so”.
Now Anthony understands why no one dares to mess with Tempesta, her blunt attitude accompanied by her sadistic persona what makes her a formidable girl to conquer. She’s also rude with her words, perhaps why not lots of girls hang around her. She’s insensitive and straightforward to the point she can call people dumb and hurt someone without her knowing.
It’s just her basic personality that causes the people around her to be scared, calling her the Yankee of Holorealm.
“Sorry for that, shall we continue our previous conversation?” Tempesta sits on the couch, crossing her leg in dominance. “There’s a disturbance earlier, but you don’t mind that right? I’m sure you’re all mature enough to understand that friendships cannot be judged with genders, I befriend whoever I want”.
She emphasizes the last part as she slams her hand on the coffee table, the whole room exchanges glances of confusion and possibly fear. Anthony can feel the raw power escape her mouth as she says it, her notable bluntness and hardy attitude are indeed correct, as the rumors said.
‘The Unconquerable Yankee of Holorealm’.
