DAPHNE’s POV It is a beautiful Monday morning. I have just woken up from my beauty sleep. But then my mom, Andrea Collins, entered my room. “Daphne, Andrew is downstairs waiting for you.” She said as she enters my room. “Really mom? What is the sudden visit?” I said with full of curiosity in my mind. “I don’t know! You better ask him. He’s at the poolside by the way. Anyways, I got to go. I have a lot of things to do.” She says as she rushed out my door. “Ok thank you for that mom! Please take care!” I said shouting. My parents are really busy to maintain my family’s name. In our world, life is not just like the normal ones. We have power to maintain, that’s why I am trained to be as sophisticated and well-educated as I seemed to be. Enough for chitchatting, let’s take a shower. After I took a shower, I wear the emerald green dress laying on my bed. It was just my everyday dress. It is a satin mermaid cut dress and it is knee length. I also wear the emerald green stilettos I just bought from my trip yesterday. As I approaches the poolside, I already heard Andrew’s voice, ordering! As usual! “Chef Marky, what’s on the menu?” Andrew asked as I heard his tummy growled. “Here’s the menu young master. If you’ve already completed your order, please ring the bell as always.” He said politely. “Chefy , just give us two steaks. One well-done and the other one is medium rare. And Italian wine please.” I ordered steak and wine because Andrew usually order steak to our house’s chef. “Yes missy!” Chefy turn to leave. “So, what’s with the sudden visit Mr. Jackson?” I asked Andrew my best friend in a joking manner. Andrew handed me and envelope and I assumed it is an invitation. “Kat and I are getting married!” Andrew shouted in excitement. “Oh my! Is this true?” I seemed confused because I haven’t heard of a news of him proposing. He is the heir of Jackson’s group of company, it must been all over the news. “Of course! Moving on, the wedding’s in two weeks, it is located in Siargao, and we’ll be staying there for two weeks since after the wedding we’ll go for a vacay. Are you in?” Is he out of his mind?! Seriously! In two weeks?! Is his favorite number two? Oh my goodness how can I do this! “In two weeks? How do you possibly think that my gown will be done in two weeks?!” Oh my goodness he is horrible! “Duh! Your stylist is a famous stylist, so I know he can do it! And one more thing, you’re the maid of honor of Kat and my best man is her brother. He’s your partner and you two need to get along. I won’t overpower your bride! You i***t!” “Anyway, here’s your plane tickets and please bring your invitation to enter the hotel.” Thank God the conversation is over. I am so tired of the conversation we made. My best friend really knows to upset me. “Excuse me Young Master and Missy! Here’s your order. Please enjoy your meal.” Thank you chefy you saved me. We continued chatting since we have a lot of catch-up to do. After an hour of talking with Andrew, he made his way out of the mansion already and I leave for school as well. The next day, I come to Gray’s mansion to help Kat on her wedding duties. “Hi aunt Mary, where is Kat?” Aunt Mary seems startled as she saw me approaches her way. “Hi Missy, Long time no see! I think Ms. Kat is in her room.” “Oh I see. Should I just come there for myself or I will stay here in the living area?” “You may go upstairs Missy. She is actually waiting for you.” “Thank you Aunt Mary.” Aunt Mary is the Head maid of Gray’s mansion. She’s been with them since when Kat’s father was born. I don’t know why Aunt Mary seems startled or surprise upon seeing me. As I made my way to the elevator, a man joined me in. I can smell his scent and it is so fragrant. I love his smell. Wait, I know this smell. I know to whom is this. Noah?! “Noah?!” It came out loud. Gosh! “You seemed surprise seeing me here.” Yes I am surprised! He must be in school why is he here? “Why are you here? Ugh! Of all people that I can bumped into, why you?!” I rolled my eyes and waited for his reply. “This is my house so I have all the right to be here! But you, why are you here?!” He said in a bit higher tone and in curiosity. “Kat requested my presence. Do you have a problem with that?” “Yes I do have a problem with that! I don’t want you here!” I came closer and lean a bit closer to him. “You don’t want me here?” I said teasing him. I haven’t noticed that we are really close to each other since he also leaned closer to me. We just stared for a minute with and angry look. And then he kissed me. Out of shock I spank him. “What the hell!” The elevator door opens and Kat witnessed how Noah kissed me and how I spank him. “Woah woah woah easy you two!” Kat said laughing. “Stop laughing Kat.” We get out of the elevator and I stared like a devil to Noah. “You guys really look good to each other. Why don’t you be a couple? Again!” Kat laughs loudly this time. “No way!” Me and Noah shouted at the same time. “Easy there lovebirds! Anyway, let’s go to my room Daphne.” We entered Kat’s room and started checking the guest list, the souvenirs, the dresses, and a lot more stuff. NOAH’s POV I missed Daphne. I kissed her because I missed her and I still love her. Then why I don’t find a way to get back with her? As I entered my room, I called Miah. “Hey bro how are you doing?” “I’m actually with Diane, she’s being measured by her stylist. Thank God you called! It’s boring here.” Miah said in almost a whisper. “I have to tell you something bro.” “What is it bro?” “It’s about Daphne. I think I’m still in love with her.” Miah giggles. “We know right! I know that you still love her dude. It’s obvious.” What? Obvious?! “Moving on, we kissed.” Miah blurted in shock. “You did what?” “We kissed Miah! It was not a smack or something. She kissed me back and I think the kiss was a bit long. She seemed to be missing me as well.” “That’s nice dude. She is slowly giving in.” “But what will I do? She seemed mad at me. She slapped me.” “Why did she slapped you?” “She slapped me when my sister came. We were in the elevator and we had a small argument. She teased me and lean towards me because I know that she knows that I can be teased by leaning forward. So I leaned forward as well and boom we kissed. I held her waist and her head and she placed her hands on my cheeks. Maybe she was startled by the fact that Kat is there.” “This is good brother. I think soon, you’ll get back with each other.” It has been two years since you started fighting and six years since you left her. It is understandable that you missed each other so much.” I answer miah with no hesitation. “I want a moment with her soon.” Miah is not shocked by my words. I think he already knew that I will say that. “You will have your moment soon. Don’t worry.” I ended the call and just lay down to my bed. I kept on thinking what to do with Daphne. I missed her so much that I want to enter my sister’s room and bring Daphne to my room. But I can’t…
