I hurried over to the car once I was done talking to Rachel. I had to encourage and promise her that I would do anything to protect her before I left.
I draped the hoodie over my face and made my way down the stairs with a brisk pace, trying to get away from this vicinity as fast as I can. If Rachel was serious about Bella watching her then there's a very good chance that she knows a man just visited her. I doubt she knows my identity though. I really hope she doesn't.
