Aliya’s POV
My eyes flutter open and shuts immediately when it makes contact with the bright light.
“Urgh.” I groan and attempt opening them again.. slowly this time. When I do, I am met with an unfamiliar ceiling.
Definitely not mine or Evan’s.
“Where the f**k am I?” I murmur whole praying that I didn’t go home with a stranger and have s*x.
That would be crazy. I have never had s*x with Evan. Not that I plan on saving it till marriage. As a werewolf, s*x is pretty much our lifestyle but I want my first time to be with my mate and Evan is not my mate.
I lift myself off the bed and I am met with the most luxurious room I have been to here in Paris.
Don’t get me wrong, my parents are crazily rich but I don’t really spend so much of it since I prefer working for my money.
This room is way beyond my paycheck.
It looks like what Uncle Julian would live in. It had his exact aesthetic choice.
When I walk to the door, I turn the knob only to realize that the door has been locked from outside.
“Have I been kidnapped?” I start to panic as I continuously turn the knob but no reply comes from the other side.
“Hello? Is there anyone here?” I yell, turning the knob continuously but I get no response. I look around for my phone and find it on the bedside table, thankfully.
I am about switching it on when the door snaps open and a tall figure walks into the room.
It takes me two seconds to register the face and when I do, my eyes nearly pop out of their sockets.
“Jayden?” I say, still frozen at my spot as I stared at the one person I didn’t want to see.
“You’re awake. Good.” He says nonchalantly and drops the glass of water on the table before taking a seat on the Luxurious couch that was directly opposite the bed.
Why on earth is he acting like he didn’t just appear out of nowhere?
Why am I even in a house with Jayden?
“What are you doing here? How did you get here?” I ask, ignoring the drums that were beating loudly in my chest.
“This is my house, kitten. Don’t you think I should be asking you that?” He replied in a low tone and I had to clench my thighs to try and get rid of the strange feeling I was getting down there from just his voice.
How the f**k am I this way even after being away for ten whole years?
I look around and realize that he was right since he and Uncle Julian had the same taste. “How did I get here then?” I clear my throat and drop my face to the ground.
A few seconds after my question, there is no reply so I raise my face to meet him and he raises one of his perfectly shaped brows at me.
“Wait.. are you serious?” He asks with a chuckle and shakes his head.
“Yes, I am. I need an explanation as to why I go to a club and wake up in a house. Your house of all places.” The last sentence was more a cry for help because I was sure I won’t be able to control myself if I spend one more minute with him.
Even though I had been away for ten years, there was not a single day that passed without me having thoughts about him.
“Don’t give me that look, Kitten. I didn’t kidnap you.” He says and I roll my eyes at him.
“Then how did I get here?” I shot back and Jayden drew his eyes at me before leaning back in his seat.
“I found you drunk and alone in my club, Kitten. You didn’t expect me to leave you there, did you?” He said like it was the most natural thing in the world.
“I wasn’t alone! I went there with my friends and boyfriend, you stalker!” My frustration made me want to rip his hair off his head.
I should’ve known that going to a club a day before leaving would be a bad idea. Now that I think about it, Raquel talked about the owner of the club, drooling over him when she had not even seen him for herself.
But I must confess, the rumors don’t lie. This man is fine as f**k!
“Do you really think I care about that, kitten?” He raised his brows at me.
“Aliya.. my name is Aliya.” I correct. He started calling me that when we were twelve and he noticed my obsession with cats. I didn’t think he’d remember that name after all these years.
His eyes darken and before I can utter another word, he stands from the chair and grabs my arm.
“I’ll call you whatever I feel like, okay? Now, get changed into one of the dresses in the closet. We need to leave.” He orders and I feel my heart race at how close we were. I could practically feel his breathe on me.
“Leave? Why? I’m not going anywhere with you.” I try moving out of his hold but instead of letting me go, he tightens his grip and pulls me closer to his body.
“Yes, you are. Don’t make me force you.” He wants and I am taken aback by the dominance he exudes.
A part of me wants to be stubborn and disobey but I have known Jayden for a really long time and he always gets what he wants. So, I succumb to his wishes.
“Where are we going?” I lower my voice and ask. He nods and frees my arm when he sees that I have accepted my fate.
“Home.”

Author’s POV
An hour later and Aliya was in car with Jayden, both heading to the airport. She was still unable to believe that Jayden actually appeared in Paris and was now taking her back to Paris.
Her phone had been blowing up with tons of messages from her friends and boyfriend who was still in shock that she just disappeared from the club and was nowhere to be found.
Because of Jayden’s presence, she was unable to give them a proper explanation so, she just sent a text to them saying that she left early and was already on her way back to her family house.
When Raquel got the message, she was beyond pissed and swore to never talk to her again but Aliya knew that it had to be done as she couldn’t risk them finding out that she was really heading to the Lycan Kingdom.
“I’ll find you, Aliya.” Was the text she got from her boyfriend Evan who was also shocked to find out that she left without any real explanation.
She thought about breaking up with him before leaving but could never bring herself to do it as she still liked him as a friend.
Neither her nor Jayden said anything to each other as they sat in the private jet returning to the Lycan kingdom. She was still pissed at him for kidnapping her and forcing her to travel without seeing her friends one last time.
This was a problem she had with Jayden. He never thought about other people’s feelings and only did what he wanted to.
“Do you have something to tell me, Kitten. You’ve been staring at me for hours.” Jayden’s voice resounded through the space and it snapped her back to reality.
She had been unknowingly staring at him while he worked on his MacBook.
“What? No.” She defended, turning her eyes to the side. Jayden smiled and shut his laptop before turning to face her.
“Do you like my face that much? I’ll let you touch it if you want.” He said and her cheeks reddened in embarrassment.
“Why would I want to do that? I have a boyfriend, you know? We’re going to mates soon.” She shot back and Jayden’s smile faded as he gripped his seat harshly.
“That’s not going to happen, Kitten. He’ll never find you.” He growled.
Aliya knew that he was right. The chances of Evan finding her were really slim but it wasn’t entirely impossible.
But, did she really want him to find her? If he did, it would mean she would be mated to him.
Nine hours later, the jet arrived in the Lycan Kingdom and as expected, a troop of escorts were already waiting for Jayden.
As they drove through the streets of the Lycan Kingdom, Aliya couldn’t help the smile that crept up her face. She loved this Kingdom so much and the memories she had here were without a doubt her favorite.
Jayden watched her quietly from where he sat and he couldn’t believe how much she had changed.
Her blonde hair was now longer and just like ten years ago, it matched her blue eyes perfectly, making her look like a real life Barbie.
She looked like a proper woman and he knew that it is only a matter of time until he makes her his mate.
But first, he’d need to get rid of her werewolf boyfriend, Evan.
