I didn’t know how long time had passed but when I woke up and opened my eyes, I felt a tad bit lighter. Like I had just woken up from a long slumber. “Where am I?” my voice sounded so croaky, I barely recognized it. I was lying down on a bed and my head was placed under high pillows, I can see the room from my limited movements.
The room I was in, was spacious and big. It had white-washed walls and a few strips of floral wallpaper lining it like a frame. It had no windows but there were two closed doors on different walls. There was a medium-sized couch with a small coffee table there too.
