Chapter Eighteen

Nora loudly sighed and sat down on the chair then leaned back her head on the chair. She was in hospital right now doing her duties. She was feeling really tired right now. She sighed then got hold of glass of water and drank it when Nurse Asia stopped in front of her. She looked up towards her then quickly stood up. Nurse Asia was head of nurses and right now Nora was under her training.

'Miss Nora, your next duty is to patient number hundred and ten. She is on floor Ten. Please can you go and check her up. 'Nurse Asia said while handling her over file and Nora nodded her head 

'Yes Sure.' Nora said while smiling

'Thank you.' Nurse Asia said and smiled then walked off. Nora looked towards her then towards the file then she sighed and started walking. She walked towards the lift. She reached their and few people were already there. She was on second floor and she need to reached floor ten, last floor of hospital. She pressed the lift button and waited. After few seconds the lift opened and she walked inside. Their was few people already inside. She walked and stopped next to a man who was standing in the corner while file in front of his face. She looked at him then away while the lift started moving. It's stopped on next floor and few more people entered. Then next floor and few more. It was busy hour so lift was almost full. Everybody was standing right next to each other. She sighed when a young boy came and stood next to her. She slightly moved and got touched by other man who was holding the file. She tired to moved away to create distance but there was no space. She annoyed sighed while trapped between two man when a young women entered making the lift even more crowned. She annoyed sighed and looked towards a young man who was standing next to her. He smirked while looking towards her flirtingly. Nora frowned and glared at him to look away but he did not. She don't want a fight so she looked away but he kept looking towards her.

'You work here?' He asked and she looked towards him while trying to breath in this crowned lift. She glared at him and without anything looked away. 'Off course she work here because she was wearing the uniform. What a stupid question.' She thought while looking away

'I start working here as well....Recently join.' He said while smiling but she did not say anything when another person entered and they pushed in. She got pushed into person standing next to her who was still holding up the file. She got hold of his arm to balance herself.

'Sorry.' She said while moving away her hand from his arm but he still did not say anything. She looked at him on his weird behaviour when she got pushed again in moving lift and she felt a arm of the boy around her waist. She shocked up towards him who smirked. He did this time on purposed. Lift opened again on floor six and few people left but it still was crowned

'What the hell you doing?' Nora whispered said angrily while pushing away his arms.

'I thought you like it.' He said while smiling and she was horrified looking towards him. What a cheap jerk?' Nora thought while glaring at him

'Why I will like it? Stay away from me asshole.' Nora whispered yelled while giving him warning when the lift opened and more people left. It was getting better. Nora sighed when he moved closer to her and she snapped her head towards him. He smirked but without anything she looked other way when someone spoke up.

'You are making her uncomfortable, respect the women. Please move away.' Someone said and they looked up toward him and it was Doctor Kasif Hussain. He was Twenty Eight, recently joined and with great character. He moved away the boy from her when the lift stopped on floor eight and many people went out. She smiled while Kasif stopped next to her

'Are you okay Miss Nora.' Karif asked and she nodded her head

'Thank you.' Nora said and he smiled back when she looked towards the wall when her gaze fell on the man still standing there with the freaking stupid file on his face. Nora annoyed looked at him the away when her gaze on the file. She was surprised looking towards the file and she saw the name on it. She surprised stared at the name then angrily and sarcastically sighed. Then, she closed her eyes to clam down when she heard doctor Kasif.

'Are you single Miss Nora, if you don't mind telling me.' Kasif asked and she looked towards him then smiled

'I don't mind and no I am not single.' Nora answered and he nodded his head while looking away 

'I am married but soon going to get divorce.' Nora said sarcastically and he surprised looked towards her.

'Why you getting divorce?' Kasif asked

'Well you see I got married with a Jerk. He is too annoying. He forced me to marry him then he torture and abuse me. He is obsessed over me. He is a psychopath.' Nora said and he nodded his head while listening to her.

'Hope Allah help you. You should not stay with this kind of man.' Kasif said and she nodded her head when the lift opened again

'That's my stop talk to you later.' Kasif said and Nora smiled while he smiled back then walked off. Only few people were left even that annoying boy was gone. She sighed then looked towards him who was standing holding file in front of his face.

'Stupid Mr husband, why you will hide in the file which had your name written on it.' Nora said while looking towards him when he slowly moved say the file and he looked towards her. She was glaring towards him and on his stupidity he sighed

'Foolish Miss Wife, when did I force you to marry me. When I torture or abuse you. And I am a psychopath and a jerk.' Sher asked while putting away the file and she was still glaring at him

'He was flirting with me and you did not do anything.' Nora said while ignoring his question when the lift stopped on last floor. The lift opened and they looked between. Sher was about to move to walk out even that was not her stop because he needed to be on floor seven but he missed because she was standing

'Stay I need to talk to you.' Nora ordered when the last two people also walked out leaving them behind. Nora closed the lift and again angrily looked towards him.

'What are you doing here? What happen to you?' Nora asked suddenly concerned and he looked towards her then shook away his head.

'Nothing happen.' Sher said while closing the file and they both were staring at each other. Lift was about to opened when she press the button and let it stayed closed while passing it to next floor then she pressed the button stopping the lift in the middle of two floors.

'What are you doing?' Sher asked and she looked back towards him

'Tell me what happen to you?' Nora said while moving towards him then got hold of his hand

'Where you are hurt?' She asked while looking him everywhere while trying to examine him. He was looking towards her worried face

'Nothing happen to me Nora.' Sher said softly and she looked up towards him with tearful eyes.

'Why you are in hospital then?' Nora asked worried

'Just for medical check up. It's nothing much.' He said softly while holding her hand and she was looking towards him.

'Trust me, it's nothing.' Sher said while nodded his head and she sighed then looked away. Then she took out her hand from his grip and moved away

'I don't trust you after what you did to me. I don't trust you after you want divorce from me.' Nora said hurtfully while moving away and he sighed when the phone in the lift started ringing. Nora moved and picked it up.

'Hello Ma'am, Are you alright?' Security guard asked

'Yes, I am. Lift is broken. Please fix it.' Nora lied

'We are working on it.' Security guard said and cut off the phone while she slowly put away the phone as well.

'I am really hurt you did not do anything when he was touching me or flirting with me. Last time you said you don't like me being with other man and today you was so carefree as if I don't exit....I am hurt. You are such a bad person .' Nora said hurtfully when tears started coming out from her eyes while her back was facing him. She waited but he did not say anything. She closed her lips not to show she was crying but a sobbed came out from her mouth. She quickly covered them moved her hand towards the button to pressed it so lift will started moving again. She moved her shaky hand but he turned her around. They came face to face with each other while tears were flowing from her eyes.

'Where did he touch you?' Sher asked softly while looking towards her who was looking back towards her. She kept crying while looking towards him but did not say anything. But then she slowly moved and put her hand around her waist where that other boy hold her.

'It feel disgusting.' Nora said while crying when he pulled her towards his chest and hugged her while tighten his hold around her waist. She fell on his chest while crying then moved and hugged  him back when she heard him.

'Now....feel better.' He asked and she just nodded her head while crying

'I did not like anyone touching me except you.' Nora whispered confessed and he smiled while sighing

'When you will get divorce from me and get married with someone else then you will not like me touching you either.' Sher said and her moved away her head from his chest and looked towards him.

'You are such a harsh person. You don't feel any sympathy toward me despite knowing how much I love you.' Nora said and he looked away while not meeting her eyes but did not say anything.

'You heart is beating so rapidly Sher, may I know why? Is it because of me?' Nora asked and he looked back towards her then quickly moved her away.

'It's not because of you.' He said while looking away

'But why I think it's because of me.' Nora said while making him look back towards her but he still did not meet her eyes.

'It's your illusion.' Sher said while again turning away the moved and pressed the lift button. It started moving then on next floor it opened and he walked out without a word. More people entered and she quickly cleaned away her eyes and controlled herself. Lift closed again and she pressed her floor number while waited for lift to reach there. Meanwhile Sher came out on random floor time walked and sat down a seat he found. He put hand over his heart then started breathing rapidly.

'Its alright Sher, you can do it.' He said to himself them got up and started walking towards his floor while taking stairs. But he need to found a way not to meet or let her see him here again because it was risky.

Nora came towards register office which had all patients files of hospital with them. She just got free from her duty. She stopped then entered inside the room and Mr Abdullah, who is charge of the register officer looked up towards her. He stood up then smiled and greeted her while she greeted him back. Mr Abdullah was nice man in mid of his forties.

'Sir, I need your help.' Nora said

'Yes tell me, my child.' Mr Abdullah said

'I need a file detail of patient name Sher Musa. Can you find for me?' Nora said and he nodded his head

'Sure but everything alright?' Mr Abdullah asked and she shrugged her shoulder

'Not sure whether everything is alright or not.' Nora answered and Mr Abdullah nodded his head

'And may I know who is he to you?' Mr Abdullah asked and she sighed

'Really important person of my life...No....most important person of my life.' Nora said and Mr Abdullah nodded his head in understanding.

'Okay, I will do it for you. Give me some time.' Mr Abdullah said

'Okay...but try to be quick.' Nora said and he nodded his head while she turned over  and walked out.

'If he think I believe everything he says then he is stupid. He even don't know that he can't lie. He is hiding and I will find out everything.' Nora said to herself while walked out from the hospital.
