Jason entered Vern's room. He casually took a cold beer from the minibar and opened the lid. He handed another can to Vern.
Vern took the cold beer can nervously. He did not open the lid. He didn’t let himself get drunk and say yes to Jason's request. He needed his head to stay clear and focus on listening to the assignment given by Jason.
Jason smiled amusedly at Vern's anxiety. He took a sip of his beer slowly, allowing time to travel and enjoying the restless expression on Vern's face.
"So what is my task?" Vern asked, breaking the silence. He sat on the edge of the bed nervously.
Jason sat in a chair in the room with ease.
"I want you to play Bloody Mary with me, with Digger, as a hacker couple like we used to. Is Arctic Fox sleeping because of a suspension?" Jason
