It felt strange as she shook, channeling her energy. Standing there, I didn’t know what to do or say. She had never healed someone with such a severe condition; how would she know it wouldn’t hurt her? I tried to move closer, but to my surprise it was as if my legs were buried in the ground. I wondered how powerful she could be, seeing that I couldn’t even move. This was the same energy I had felt on the night of the full moon.
“Elara!” I called. She had to stop. It was better to learn slowly than to cause more harm than good. “Can you hear me? You have to stop.”
